Olde Homestead Suites reviews
7We had a lovely stay in the Kings Suite! So clean and little details like soft robes and soft music playing. Love the scripture verses. Cozy fireplace. Delicious homemade breakfast and kind hosts. Definitely recommend!
We find ourselves back again.
Still the most pleasant hosts.
One of the top 5 b&b that we have stayed in World Wide. Beautiful facility. Wonderful rooms. Engaging, gracious staff. One of the few we will truly return to. Value for money, decorations, ambiance would be difficult to improve upon. The Rustic Room is so unexpectedly equipped, down to the water and soda in the fridge and a microwave. The patio complete with table and chairs in a charming little space has been so enticing and peaceful to sit and relax. Even in the drizzle yesterday the shelter was plenty for me to work and have coffee. Coffee and tea is available 24/7 in the lobby/breakfast room along with good fruit on the tables. DVD's are available anytime in the lobby along with a little book nook.
Peaceful and quiet. No stores to walk to by it, but is a quilt shop next door.
This place is a Amish Christian atmosphere. Very quiet rooms. The rooms are stylish.
Wow what a nice bed & breakfast to stay at! My family recommended us to give this place a try. We stayed in the Grapes & Roses suite and it was very nice! Very clean and didnt smell like your typical hotel room. The wife and I stayed for our anniversary and even down to the peaceful music they had playing in our room on a sweet sounding Bose Wave music radio was an awesome touch for relaxing. Marylou is a so sweet and friendly to everyone. And the breakfast is superb! I really appreciated the quietness of this place when staying in the suites. Oh and the mattress was VERY comfortable which is a big plus compared to other places. The only downfall they need to get rectified is the doors into the place don't always work well when the owners are not in the building. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.
We spent 2 nights here with our Sunday school class. What a pleasure, we rented the whole place to ourselves. Took advantage of the 3rd floor game room, where you can find a pool table, ping pong table and an air hockey game which has seen better days. The puck doesn't slide very smoothly. Beautiful rooms, be prepared for the out in the open toilet that some of the rooms have, it's definitely unusual. Great whirlpool tubs, we stayed in the Victorian room which has the claw tub, my wife soaked both nights. Very enjoyable, Kings furniture is directly across the street along with some enormous fish which you can feed, bring some quarters for fish food there is a dispenser there. I love the constant buggy traffic. I didn't notice the truck traffic that one of the negative reviewers left, sounds to me like someone who I wouldn't want staying in my establishment, as well as the service animal person. So many of those people get service animal credentials and it's not legitimate. Oh well. We will be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we saw the Blue room too, looked very nice.
