Oldestone Steakhouse, New Hope PA

We arrived on time for our reservation and the website mentioned free valet parking so we pulled up to the front of the restaurant and waited. No one was there so we drove around the block thinking there might be parking in the back. There was, but it was for a different restaurant and we were assured that the valet parking for Oldstone was in the front of the restaurant, so we drove back and waited.and waited. Finally it was 10 minutes and I didn't want to lose my reservation, so I went in and confirmed that we were in the right place. We were, so I sat at our table while my husband sat in the car waiting for the elusive valet. I confirmed with 2 other people that there indeed was a valet and we were in the right place. TWENTY FIVE minutes later, my husband gave up & paid for parking elsewhere. When the manager came to our table while checking on each table asking if everything was ok, I mentioned that aside from the valet, it was ok. His reply was, "Oh, I sorted that out. They really made me look bad! " It seemed he was more concerned with his appearance than the fact that we waited 25 minutes and then had to give up. Now I wasn't expecting anything like a free meal, but a comped drink or dessert would have been nice. Heck, I would have settled for a reimbursement for the parking we paid for, but we got nothing but a sheepish apology. As for the meal itself, apparently there are no bus people because we spent the entire meal with empty glasses on our small deuce. Even after bringing new drinks! My steak was cooked medium when I asked for medium-rare. On another occasion, I might have sent it back but we were already there for an extra half-hour and just wanted to get through the meal. I will say that the octopus and the blistered shishitos were delicious and my husband enjoyed his appropriately cooked rare ribeye. I mentioned in my reservations we were celebrating my birthday, and no one said anything. For the amount of money we paid it was very disappointing.

Fantastic attention to detail and flawless service. Always wanted to do a tomahawk for 2 steak and finally felt comfortable breaking the barrier. Made our new years eve anniversary celebration feel so natural yet so special. Thank-you Benny!

I little bit of a language barrier, I ordered mashed potatoes and got baked potatoe. With that being said the food was fantastic

Located in downtown New Hope, a historical church transformed into a restaurant and newly established steakhouse, provides a unique atmosphere. Upon arrival, the valet attendant was amazingly prompt, courteous and informative. After walking through the doors of the restaurant, a beautifully laid out bar is straight ahead with a few table tops. We were taken to the second floor, three in all, and the ambience was fascinating. Our server, Justin, provided an incredible service with his kindness and recommendations. He made sure to always follow up on us and have a good dialogue. The spicy octopus and sliced bacon were great appetizers, followed by the ribeye and honey glazed brussel sprouts, topped off with a delicious creme brulee!

If you want a grandiose, special night with amazing food, you have to come here. The dining room on the upper level is breath taking - I felt like we were inside a fairytale. The lower level bar and private rooms are a little more casual but still such a beautiful place to eat and drink. Best lobster tail I’ve ever had, hands down.

Imagine my disappointment when it closed. But alas. I learned this restaurant had reopened as Oldestone Steakhouse and decided to book as a holiday gift to the family. I have NEVER had a finer dining experience! The food, from appetizers to dessert, was amazing. Side dishes serve three people easy. We were told it serves 2 to 3, and as a group of 6, we ordered 3 vegetables and three starches. By far, Brussel Sprouts were the table favorite. That is from six ppl who don't even profess to like Brussel sprouts! Mashed potatoes were a close second and grilled asparagus a third. Steak and seafood main courses were 'melt in your mouth' delicious. Desserts were fabulous and also fed two, so sharing is encouraged. The atmosphere is unique, beautiful, and busy, but not too loud. Lastly, the service was 5 star. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to fold a napkin, which was a 1st for me. I have eaten at many nice restaurants but this place was next level. Just amazing. Treat yourself.

I would say this place is average, not bad, not great. I do think it's expensive for what you get. The steaks are very overpriced for what you get. Not the most flavorful either. Everything else was just average as well, the flavor was ok. Nothing was memorable. We ordered a bottle of wine that was out of stock, ordered another bottle. Also out of stock, so the wine expert substituted it with a bottle that was $30 more. I thought this was shameful, but didn't complain and embarrass my wife. There seemed to be plenty of waitstaff but found ourselves constantly waiting for the waitress. After 3.5 hours I had to ask the manager to take our check. I love not being rushed but you need to check in on the guest at times especially when we asked for the check when we ordered desert. The waitress never coming back to collect the check. I probably will not go back as you can find better steakhouses at a more reasonable price.

Went for dinner tonight. Food was good however I asked for medium and I got medium.my friend asked for medium and got medium rare.we told the waiter who sent the manager over, however, nothing was done. Paying for a $50 8oz steak you would think something would be done.not sure if I would ever go again.

It was our anniversary. Food was outstanding and our waiter was phenomenal. Food coming out of the kitchen was extremely slow. We had a 5: 45 reservation and our dinner finally came out at 7: 10. We had to eat and run as we had a show to go to at 8, no coffee, no desert. When paying these prices, things need to run smoothly. The manager did send over an oversized shrimp cocktail to our table which was a nice gesture, but we were already running late. Give yourself plenty of time.

My husband brought me here for my birthday and it was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The food was definitely met with high quality and so fresh. Everything was amazing, The ambiance is beautiful and the service was great, we enjoyed every minute being here and will sure be back again!

Dinner for 24th anniversary. Excellent experience. Cory the waiter was excellent, even had knowledge of the mural on the wall and the best way to warm up my delicious left over pork chop. Ambiance was very nice. Food was delicious and prepared wonderfully. Would definitely go back.

Oldestone was spectacular. My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice steakhouse for dinner and the atmosphere and food were fantastic. I would definitely come back! Place should be in architectural digest! Awesome elevator

Food was delicious and wife enjoyed the mixed drink. One of the best mac and cheese dishes we have ever had. Fantastic selection of whisky.

AMAZING food and setting. Justin served us some of the best food we’ve ever had. The scallops were the best I’ve had anywhere and the Oscar style fillet was incredible. If we ever return to New Hope we will almost certainly reserve a table here.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Our server was very nice but didn’t visit the table very frequently. We had to track her down to order more drinks. I came here for a 6: 15 reservation with 3 adults and 2 babies. We weren’t seated until 6: 30 and it is 8: 41 and we just received our entrees. We kept being told that our food was being plated and more and more time would go by without food. Others around us who were seated after us were receiving their food and finishing. My experience was not a great one trying to eat my very expensive meal that I wanted to splurge a little on, with a screaming baby because it was past her bedtime. Will not dine here again.

BIG ATTITUDE - bar tender lady was downright rude. To us - and later to

It is not often I am WoWed in life and in the hospitality industry these days but today this wonderful, Magnificent very unique steakhouse truly WoWed my fiancé and I. From the initial reservation questions with the host, to the first drink at the bar, to quite possibly one of the best servers (Jorge) I have ever been seated with. This place is the bees knees Cats pajamssz for something different truly unique, something tasty and incredible.

Great place to enjoy after a long day of work. Love the atmosphere and look of the whole place. Must dress nice which makes it feel classy. Their steak is phenomenal and makes me keep coming back!

Absolutely fantastic, the whole place is set so that you have a pleasant experience, the very friendly service staff plus exquisite food definitely a place to recommend
