Once Upon A Child - Harrisburg

Went there the other day. Good deals on clothes but I will not be back. The lady who rang me up was too busy on her cell phone to pay attention to me or my ex who was next in line behind me. She was taking to Jada, I'm guessing that's her daughter. Something I should not even know. If I'm at your register spending money at your store, and you can't put your phone down and give me your undivided attention, you should not be working there!
It was if I was an annoyance that was interrupting her call. I'm so sick of seeing this from employees. Jada's Mom should be fired!

Daughter called store on Saturday and asked about dropping off clothes. They said they were open until 8 - arrived at 7: 30 and was told they don't accept clothes past 7 p.m. Told us to come back the next day - drove the 20 minutes home. Dropped clothes off the next day at 1: 30 (5 bins and the process took less than 5 minutes - why couldn't they had done that on the night before) - text message at 3 saying the cash offer was ready with no other directions. Texted back to find out more information - no reply. Daughter went on Monday and they gave her money for the items they took, but she had to ask twice to get back the items they were ready to ship elsewhere. Lack of communication and poor customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would, the customer service was horrible. We were not told we had to be back THAT day to get our items back that they passed on. I had 5 bins and I went back the very next day and had to ask twice for the to double check to see if they still had them. Thankfully they did. They took 89 things and gave me $71… mind you when I got the chance to look at what they might taken and they were larger items like snow suits and nice name brand jackets. It was a TOTAL RIP OFF. DO NOT CONSIGN HERE.

Wish I could have just declined the cash offer and got all my stuff back.

If you want to sell they give you bunch of excuses. Make you wait like 4 hr

Oh but you could see the lady that are going thru the stuff taking stuff apart for the own kids. Yes lady I speak Spanish and understand all the conversations

Sell you thing and ebay or Amazon or even do a yard sale. That what I would do and will definitely make more.
We are taking good Cloth not stain or stinky.all the cloth we take we wash it before. Got home and open the box. They didn't even touch it or when thru it. Joke am telling you. So Rude and unprofessional the people that work there. But they want to talk about stain come on there a bunch of cloth on the rack that are stain. Oh wait maybe was for one of there friends.

I had a bad experience the last several times I went in to shop there. Every time I go in there, the racks are very unorganized. I find many different sizes in one size. I was in there yesterday and had to wait over 10 minutes while there was only one person checking out. The other 4 ladies were chatting and did not realize there were people in line waiting. We will never be shopping here or taking our items to sell here again. The people there were very inconsiderate and rude. TERRIBLE customer service. Tried to call several times before we went there and no one answers their phone. I drove almost an hour to get there after work and arrived on the dot on time to sell our items and they wouldn't even look at them. Seemed obvious they just didn't want to do any more work and couldn't care less about me even after I explained I drove almost an hour. I ended up donating my items except my stroller (which they had a sign for there saying they needed!) and would rather donate then sell my things here. 0 stars. Will never be going back.

So I brought in a bunch of toys & clothes, was told it would be ready in an hour. It takes me 14 mins to get home. As soon as I got home my offer was ready. There’s no way they went through 3 boxes of toys and a big bag of clothes within 14 mins. It’s like they didn’t even bother.and everything was in pretty much good condition… there were a couple outfits that still has the price tag on them. I think they pick & choose honestly…Plus they bought 12 items from me for $12. So it was $1 per item. Not happy about that. I don’t think I’m ever going here again.

We have been coming to once upon a child for years! We always find nice brand name clothes and you can't beat the prices! Highly recommend!

Do not recommend anyone to waste their time coming to this store. I drove over an hour to get there and a full bin of stuff was not accepted which was not outdated and in great condition. Not to mention the bin didn’t even look like it was looked through. I brought in a swing and bassinet and only received $40 dollars for both. Both I bought new a little over a year ago. When I took a look through the store the stuff I brought in looked like it was in a lot better condition than what was on the racks. Seems to me as they didn’t want to take the time to look through my bin. Very disappointed. First time there and never going back again.

Once upon a child has amazing customer service and all the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The store is also very well organized and well taken care of. It makes things easy for me to shop quickly when I’m in a rush.

The clothes are in good condition and adorable, however, out of 80 items in one of my mystery bags, there wasn’t a single pair of pants. And in the other mystery bag, out of 94 pieces, there was only 1 pair of pants. More pants would be great!
