Open Book Bookstore, Elkins Park PA

This bookstore always puts a huge smile on my face every time I go in there! They have a wonderful selection, and what they don’t have they will order for you. Definitely worth visiting again & again!

Love this local book store in "downtown" Elkins Park, and feel really fortunate to have it around. They have a great, well curated selection and will order anything for you they don't have. You can even order books online through their website. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful and I always find wonderful gifts to buy every time I'm there.

Great bookstore with a wonderful and varied selection, including books for young readers and a friendly staff. In addition, Evan has obtained many titles for me that are not at the shop, including books in Spanish.

The owner is amazing! Extremely helpful and patient. Helped me select books over the phone I was curious about. Even special ordered the books I liked!

This shop is very small, and as a result, every square inch is packed with an extremely well curated selection of books. It’s a great place to go for children’s picture books, or if you need a new novel and aren't sure what you want. The staff is kind and courteous and they always make good recommendations.

My daughter and I try to go here once a month. My kiddo loves books and I want to encourage her love of book! The place is small but they have a wide variety of books even for kids and I'd say they're quality books! I also have a good selection for myself!

I checked this place out with a friend of mine and loved this cozy little bookstore. Struck up a conversation on books with the owner and he was extremely knowledgeable and was giving me great recommendations in line with my interests. It felt great to know I already read some of them (to show he knew my taste). He chose a great book for me and I loved it. I only wish I wrote down his other recommendations. I did read the book he was reading at the time “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” because I could remember the cover, and that was really good!

Loved it there a lot and will definitely be back next time I’m in the area! A+
