A Blissful Dental Experience After Wisdom Tooth Extraction!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting this office for a wisdom tooth extraction, and I must say, my experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! I cannot sing their praises enough.
From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, which immediately put me at ease. They also helped me find a pharmacy near me, which is so above and beyond. Once I signed my papers I was almost immediately called into the waiting room.
Memi and Dr. Barunas are the stars of my story. During my consultation a couple weeks ago I asked for the extraction process that would be easiest/quickest recovery time, so I opted for a local anesthetic. From the Orajel-like substance, to the shot in my mouth, to the extraction the process probably took 10 minutes. There wasn't enough time for me to get nervous. I got into the office at 9: 30 and left by 10.
Post-extraction, I expected some discomfort and swelling, but to my surprise, it was minimal, practically NOTHING. The tooth growing in hurt way more than anything else. Dr. Barunas sent in my prescription which was cheap (thank goodness I don't have health insurance only dental) and Memi provided detailed aftercare instructions verbally and written down.
I highly recommend this dental office to anyone in need of dental care, especially those facing a wisdom tooth extraction. You'll be in the best hands possible, and your recovery will be a breeze.

I've been a long-time customer of this establishment, having received hundreds of dollars' worth of services over the years. Today, my interaction with Ronny from the Center City branch left me quite dissatisfied. She appeared dismissive and talked over me, indicating that my issue wasn't her concern. It's disheartening to see that the South Philly and Center City offices lack an efficient, cohesive system to assist their patients.

The current process is inconvenient for patients as it requires waiting for a staff member to return to the office in order to schedule an appointment, since only one person can authorize pre-approval. This means that if that individual is unavailable, patients are left in a difficult situation. It's crucial for the company to address this issue promptly and implement a more streamlined process to ensure patient satisfaction and avoid inconveniences caused by staff members being on vacation or leave. This would greatly benefit the business and its loyal customers.

Had a tooth broken when extracted by my primary dentist a few months ago. He referred me here for extraction of the remaining tooth. Experience was okay, i feel i was a bit rushed but then it was an emergency appointment on the same day. The extraction was so painful, i asked for more anesthesia, the surgeon gave more and it was still painful. The surgeon managed to extract the tooth but the experience was not pleasant. They then recommended me to get sedated next time if i am in too much pain having a local anesthesia, which usually dont happen. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed in the past and all of them were local and i was not in any pain like this one.

DR. LAURA BARUNAS Is the best! My son is leaving for college in one week. Of course his wisdom teeth would become a problem. The surgeon we were referred to would not see him until October. Thankfully I remembered DR. LAURA BARUNAS from a previous visit. The day of the consultation I told her when he was leaving, and she immediately said she had cancellations and would fit him that same day. I’m so thankful he gets to start his freshman year, 5 hours away, on time! He is resting after a long day, thank you to everyone in the office, you guys are great!
