Original Bagel Inc, Broomall PA

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. A friend told me about the 'best veggie cream cheese they ever had" and then brought me a container to try for myself. They were spot on. The veggie cream cheese is robust full of fresh veggies and delicious. The bagels are made fresh every morning. I have never tried their homemade biscut but I do look forward to it- they have a TON of different flavors and the butterscotch one is calling my name. People there are friendly and take pride in their work. Happy this is a business in my own hometown.

We love this place. Her bagels are always wonderful. The toppings, however, or sometimes hit and miss. For a long time. My favorite was a pepper and egg on a toasted bagel. But the peppers have been extremely salty over the last few months so I stopped ordering it.

What a treat finding this place along a shopping center in Broomall! As someone who’s frequented New York City bagels and Philly bagels this place is absolutely excellent the bagels are delicious we’ve tried the everything bagel egg bagel and cinnamon as well! The service is phenomenal and everything is well stocked although they will sell out certain flavors early in the day so you can order ahead! The cream cheese is homemade smooth and was well stocked so I was able to get a few different kinds! I already can’t wait to go back to try a bagel sandwich!? I love supporting small business when they are this good!

Great local bagel place that also serves breakfast sandwiches and a few other things like cookies. All the bagel types we got were fantastic, service was very kind/fast, and all in all I just loved the entire experience. I highly recommend them and I can’t wait to be back soon to buy all the delicious bagels.

The scooped mini, half vegetable, half scallion! Great bagels and spreads! Samantha was a huge help, made a great bagel!

Really good bagels and they are open on Saturday. Good variety of flavors and maybe homemade cookie selections as well. Courteous staff. I look forward to going back.

A wonderful family owned business. The staff is polite, welcoming and attentive. The bagels are fresh as can be and the cookies are great.
I'm a bagel breakfast sandwich person, which they do make. However the bacon is lacking and needs to be crispier to take the sandwich up a notch.
Still highly recommend for those Saturday & Sunday morning breakfast runs

Realized locals don’t know what a real bagel shop should taste like…

Very nice people that run the shop however after ordering a traditional bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel toasted. Then heard microwave buttons go off…

I asked “you use a microwave? ” And they mentioned they never got a grill due to local sites next door blocking their purchase of one.
They mentioned how a microwave would “taste” the same as a grilled sandwich.
100% wrong

Please don’t compare yourself to NY style bagel when the bagels were average at best.

If you like Dunkin’ Donuts then come here for a below average bagel and microwave egg sandwich.
Otherwise I would avoid…

Rated this location based on their sandwich and below average bagel. Location is good, people are very nice, speed was good (microwaves are fast) and prices were a little high for what I was getting.

Would not recommend

Went in for a poppy seed bagel a short time ago. Prices have gone up to $2 per bagel so I expected what I asked for. Barely any poppy seeds and they were on the edge.

The bagels are freshly made in house, great texture. I’m obsessed with the egg poppy bagel.

Just arrived from Texas which is the no bagel capitol of the country. Found Original bagel and will go no where else. Friendly, kind and quick service.

Great bagels and cookies. They have coffee and cream cheese available too. They also have doughnuts on Fridays. Very warm and friendly staff. Wonderful family-owned small business.

Pork roll, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel. French vanilla coffee. Both amazing, highly recommend!

I can't believe it took me this long to discover this tiny bagel shop. As a New York transplant, I normally stock up every time I go home and freeze bialys. So to find a local shop that makes them is super exciting and the prices are reasonable.

No espresso drinks or specialty bagel sandwich options. Just a bagel only shop that is too small with long lines

Went in here by accident a month ago because the restaurant up the street was not open yet. We’re have been back 6 times. Everything in here is outstanding and all the owners are very nice.

We love your bagels. The care and expertise that goes into each bagel is obvious. Great cream cheese assortment, cookies and biscotti offered as well. Must try!

Bagel is kinda small. The egg and cheese sandwhich was made with like fake eggs. Def not fresh eggs. Would not get it again. The staff was super nice though.
