Original Italian Pizza, Lock Haven PA

The pizza was tasty the cheese was full of flavor but very little grease. The pizza dough was Airy and had flavor to it.

Original Italian Pizza or casually sometimes called "OIP" it's been around for longer than I attended Lock Haven State College back in the '80s. They have a full array of sandwiches Pizza products appetizers for anyone's appetite to be satisfied

But I must tell you the following. I reside in the Philadelphia area where Hoagies cheesesteaks and soft pretzels are Foundation products that make Philadelphia famous among many things. In Philadelphia the importance of a roll matters for the hoagie and the cheesesteak sandwich to be exceeding in quality.

While we have plenty of rights to brag about that portion of the sandwich I am here to Proclaim that Original Italian pizzas bread is a far exceeding quality bread that they make sandwiches with. I can honestly say that of all my years eating sandwich and Hoagies, the bread that Original Italian Pizza freshly makes the sandwich many times better than the best sandwich I've tasted anywhere in Philadelphia.

I would highly recommend that if you order from The Original Italian Pizza that you have them thank you a little for two that you can take home to have for the future as well as your sandwich that you will likely enjoy!

The food was excellent, priced reasonably, and the people were super. We got into town late on a Sunday they invited us in 20 minutes before closing and fed us, awesome folks.

I enjoyed my Buffalo chicken tender sandwich. Wife didn't care for her Italian hoagie which I finished later. Win for me.

This OIP is always stellar. I have never had an issue. I have been going here since I was young and scaping together enough money to get one of their cheesesteaks. Good prices, good people and excellent food.

Got 2 slices of pizza an I dont know what happened cuz it was usually good. But something was different with it. The dough was kinda soggy an the sauce taste like tomato juice. Wasnt a good experience. Their cheese steaks are good but I don't recommend the pizza. I go to pizza King a few doors down. Much better pizza

Took my Grandson in to dine and the food was fantastic. Waitress is always very nice.personable. Friendly Staff and a clean, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant dining experience!

Italian subs had very little meat, 2 slices of tomatoes and a few sheds of lettuce and everything was in the middle of the bun. I dont live in Lock Haven so taking the subs back wasn't an option. I called and told who ever was in charge about it. Told me the next time I came in he would take care of it. I went in today and ate there my bill was $35.00 he took 10% off. The price of a soda. Just ate the other half of my cheese steak sub and thought I lost a tooth but not my tooth, sickening! No way in hell I eat there ever again!

The waitress was very rude, we had to get our own menu's, food was made wrong and she didn't if the food was ok, she was overall in a hurry! (Mill Hall OIP @ 1: 30 p.m.)

Pizza wasn't all that good neither was the Stromboli and I watch the guy touch things from the register to the phone and never wash his hands I will not eat there again

My party had some appetizers, sandwiches, a burger, and pasta. We were looking forward to the fried pickles, but we were told they were out. We had the onion rings, jalapeno poppers, and fried zucchini instead. The onion rings were the favorite of the appetizers. You could taste how fresh they were. All of the meals were delicious. The portions were perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Use to love this place still love the bread but they hardly put any meat on their subs anymore not to mention the poor attitude most of the ppl have that work there

A hometown classic. They've a pretty large menu, its inexpensive and great tasting. Chicken Cheesesteaks, Pizza, and Stromboli are Fantastic. All their bread is made in house!

Please don’t order onion ring from this place. If you order you on your own risk. I order it wasn’t look like onions ring.
