Was hesitant to go, ‘what can they do for a non-major back injury? ’ But my husband was right. I was very impressed with how quickly you can be seen by a great doctor and get the care you need to start feeling better!

Dr. Cody Gangaware is very kind. He explained to me in detail what I had and what I had to do. I recommend it 100%.

I was able to be waited on within about 5 minutes. It was easy to find too. No waiting at all.

My experience with Cori (a PA), was fantastic. I also overheard her interactions with other patients (in passing, not medical info) and they were equally as kind, helpful, and sincere. I only wish I could have gotten in for my needed MRI and follow up appt sooner. (Hence 4 instead of 5 stars.) WEEKS is a long time to wait when there's def something wrong and your quality of life is drastically impacted.

From the time I arrived to the time that I was being looked at was honestly but a blip of time. Normally you’re sitting at places like this for a long time but before I knew it, I was being called back. Everyone I came across was absolutely lovely and I felt heard. I highly recommend this place.

Visited as a walk in and was seen by a nurse practitioner within 30 minutes. 5 stars to front desk an NP!
They scheduled a stat MRI and luckily had an opening immediately. The guy doing the MRI had no personality, was annoyed when I said I forgot to remove 2 bobby-pins from my hair before I entered the room, and proceeded to lecture me in disgust while I am freaking out because I have panic attacks and am claustrophobic! Anyway, got through it…they don’t play music or give you an eye mask to help with anxiety like UPMC Imaging does so be prepared. And he doesn’t talk to you at all through the procedure. At times I wondered if he was still in the room! 2 stars to this guy!

When leaving I was told that my stat MRI probably wouldn’t be read for 3 to 5 days! I was very displeased with that answer so I got home I called and was then told that after questioning twice I would receive a call the next day with the results and the plan.

I waited until 1030 The next day received no call so I called. I received the answer that it wouldn’t be read for 3 to 5 days. I reminded them that it was a stat order. They looked again and said oh we should have the results today. Let me transfer you to the nurse practitioners admin.

Three hours go by no phone call so I called again. I repeat the same information and I am told that the results were still not in. I further pushed and said I wanted answers today. I need to know why I have no feeling from my hip to my toes, and the order was stat. She put me on hold came back on the line and said That the order results did come in and they were waiting for the doctor to read them. I asked how we can expedite the doctor reading them so that I could determine if I needed to go to the ER to further explore my problem. She sent a priority message to the admin.

Two more hours pass I don’t get a phone call I call again. I’m told that the doctor is reading the results and will call me. About an hour after that, I get a call from the admin stating that the MRI produced no results and they would try to schedule me for two more MRIs. They were calling around to see what facility could schedule me for stat MRIs.

Fortunately, two days later, I was able to get in to UPMC to have the additional MRIs. What a world of difference it was there, insofar is comfort and ability to maintain my anxiety due to earphones with music and an eye mask a warm blanket and the technician Periodically talked to me about where we were throughout the hour long procedure.

In summary, the front desk was great and compassionate, timing to get to see the nurse practitioner. Very acceptable, knowledge of the nurse practitioner. Great, timing to get the MRI. The MRI experience terrible, trying to get accurate answers regarding my results was very difficult. Overall between the good and the bad I would still give a low four star rating.

Went to get same day Xray results, saw Dr. Gangaware, very great experience and care recieved. Had questions after appointment, recieved prompt response over phone. I would recommend it to anyone.

$50 co-pay to wait an hour and then to have Dr Lippe not even spend two minutes in the room. Literally walked out as I was talking. Not a single issue was addressed. I don't even know how you can legally charge someone for a 2 min visit. If you're that busy, don't schedule. It's that simple.

No discussion on what can be done to relieve knee and back pain. Only comment was back pain is to be expected 3 years after back fusion.

Always like goin to the OIP in Harrisburg there workers are always very nice and respectful

In 2008 I became a patient at OIP and went through surgery on my left knee and years later on a Right Hip Replacement, also therapy and Post Treatment. They help me through it and other times injuries occurred like this past week, being healthy as I served my country is important and I really can't say enough with everything OIP do for me. Thank you

The doctors, nurses and staff in general are very thorough and professional.

OIP East, very unprofessional. Was going for hip replacement therapy. Had different therapist every time I went for 8 months. No personal attention, no improvement, nobody listening to me about my pain. Was basically rehabbing myself. OIP West, started out the same nobody listening. Was sent for unnecessary medical tests, was told just going through the motions to show PT wasn't working. Until I met Ula (don't know how to spell her name) Ula was the only one who listened and worked with me. Five Stars for her, she's awesome. Within a few weeks had major improvement. Would recommend her to everyone. Ula deserves respect. Five Stars for her. She's awesome, the best person you have.

Got me in and out quick. Front desk woman seemed like it was time to go home, came off as a bit irritable but maybe she had a bad day. Medical staff were knowledgeable and kind.

I have always gained knowledge and professionalism from physicians about and for my injuries. I have recommended family, friends and coworkers in the construction industry.
