Otter Creek Campground, Airville PA

Ive enjoyed camping here with my friends every time and the people who run it are all really nice! The ice cream is definitely the best part!

Clean restrooms and the river is right there. The managers are super friendly. I have been coming her for 20 yeara. I love this place!

So I got to go last year n July for a week n let’s just say this place is amazing the staff do a credible job on the Campground n the place is gorgeous n very kid friendly when it comes to play ground n they also have a hiking trail to. I am of course looking to go back this year more then once for sure n of course another big week there. July 7 2023 we been here since July 3rd n we r enjoying are selfs again this place is amazing my favorite place to go for vacation n to stay for a short get away as well if anyone is looking for a place to stay this be the place to go on vacation n to relax. The two pics are site 50 n one of my favorite sites.

It seems to be mostly seasonal camping, but it is nice for an overnight stay. We stayed for one night when we were in the area for an event. We used to come here a lot ~20-25 years ago. It used to be more of a recreation destination, with canoe rentals and fishing and lots of campers bringing kayaks. Now, the trails are covered with poison ivy and it seems more like a social seasonal campers gathering spot. But, everyone was super nice! It was quiet and peaceful. Minus one star because it doesn't seem like the facilities have been updated in decades and they're obviously not in the market for overnight/vacation campers (don't bother to ask for firewood if it doesn't happen to be bundled at the store.going and getting more from the stash at the back of the campground was too tall an order). POISON IVY ALERT: like so many places in the region, this area is overrun with poison ivy. At every campsite, all over the trails, all along the creek and the river, just everywhere. Make sure you know what it looks like and don't let you children or dogs brush against it!

Otter Creek is a nice quiet place to relax not too far away to have pizza delivered right to your camp site. The staff is incredibly nice. The camp store has ice cream and drinks and of course the basic camping necessities. It borders the Susquehanna river and Otter Creek. So there are opportunities for fishing and boating. Not far from York or Red lion PA so there is plenty to do locally. Roma pizza and the brown cow are ten minutes away. The brown cow is a small market Amish run and plenty of fresh foods this time of year. The camp restrooms are clean and there is a playground for children. We have stayed there several times over the past two years. We will continue to keep going back for some peaceful ready and relaxation.

I'm 35 and I've came here since I was 4. The staff is as nice as you could imagine. I've never seen them in a bad mood n they remember your face n greet you with friendship. It's a family owned campground very quiet and never any issues. Everyone is always friendly there is a park, bathroom house, showers n I believe laundry. The shop has just about all u might need n price is fair. They deliver your wood to you also n provide pump outs for RV if u dnt want ur hands dirty. I will say some of the sites are not very level but don't let it deter you. There is over 80 sites. They have a pavilion and do arts n crafts bingo ect. It's what you would want if ur not into big loud camping resorts with pools n people lol

Love this place! Electric and water only but has honey wagon if you need and of course dump station. Good price. Quite and the folks who have yearly spots are very friendly.
