Bar Pag's Pub reviews
12Best thought of as a small plate and small 10.5 (HH) ounce beer place. Food is good, beer selection as well.
Came in here with two friends and sat at the bar. Beer and wine had a wide selection. Service however… horrendous. Bartender was sipping out of glass. Assumed it was water or something… after watching him refill it on the beer tap 3 times in a hour realized it was beer. Assuming this is huge health violation and very unprofessional. Gentlemen in kitchen who seemed to be in command seemed to have no issues with this.
A pub with great beer choices and food for decerning tastes. Try the pizza: unique and flavorful combinations. Varied selection of liquor and cocktails.
Came to the bar for HH on a Friday not realizing they only have HH on weekends after 10PM. Husband was excited they offered whiskey flights. Younger female bartender seemed a bit confused about the flights and ended up pouring very large amounts - owner and another bartender start shouting at her and make her pour them out and do it again (all right in front of us). Poor female bartender was shaking as she poured the next ones and her colleagues continued to speak about her but now in a different language. No one ever apologized for their behavior to us. Awful experience and overpriced specially cocktails they didn’t even know how to make!
My husband and I love this place. The young French guy (waiter) is great at what he does. He makes you want to come back for the hospitality. THE FOOD IS THE BEST!
Ehhh, everything Linda felt short changed on. Our meals were medicore, drinks were average but the outdoor seating was nice. Won't ever return to find out if they improve.
Worst falafel I ever had. Wasn't right at all. I offered my feedback and was met with apathy. I couldn't eat it. Not coming back. I could also see people in kitchen handling food with their bare hands.
I had a personal size margherita pizza with arugula, eggplant, and tomatoes with a Founders Breakfast Stout on tap. Delicious. The 2 ladies with me loved their meals as well.
Great selection of wines and beers, pizzas are outstanding. Visited on art fest day and service was still friendly and pretty quick.
TAKE NOTE AND AVOID: Insane and miserable experience. Family from this town and a life long patron of many bars in this town. HANDS DOWN THE WORST treatment by a manager/owner ever, all stemming from not being able to understand the bartender. We ultimately wanted a carafe of wine and couldn’t get the bartender to understand. So my friend ordered a “coors light” in my party and then the bartender understood finally and my friend decided he wanted to switch the drink to the carafe. (He never touched the coors for reference) The owner kept pointing to us saying NO I HEARD HIM AND HE ORDERED A COORS and though we tried to explain, he kicked us out after cursing in Italian. All because we wanted to switch out the cheap domestic bottled beer to a much more expensive carafe of wine. I’m still processing what just happened and will never return
Come here for attitude and rudeness. The bartender with braids has little to no command of English or the the bar menu to boot and the owner is a bully. Avoid this place at night.
Service was friendly and decent. The food on the other hand was horrible. Broccoli cheddar soup was like hot water that had been in the same room as broccoli briefly, there’s no way a chef can taste that and serve it. Almost certain that the pizza was on frozen crust and was undercooked. No effort or attention towards the quality of the food they are serving. When we expressed dissatisfaction with the food, management didn’t bother to come to the table or care at all.
