Great place to go for a massage. Me and my fiance had our own private rooms and our masseuses hit all of our pain spots, the place lives up to its name. Was able to hang out in the sauna afterwards too. Staff is friendly and place is clean would recommend

Came here for an ear cleaning.was satisfied I just think the cost of 40 bucks was a bit much. Considering I had cleaned my ears three days prior. The price starts at 30.00 and goes up in price with the amount of dirt and wax. Overall, I do plan to go back. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm a regular customer. Service depends on the masseuse, but I have usually returned happy, relaxed and pain free.

My friend recommended me to go here and it’s exactly what I needed! The waiting area was so beautiful and it help set up a relaxing and calm ambiance. They offered me a complimentary drink while I waited for them to set up the room.

I got the 1 hour massage and it worked out all my knots and melted away my stress. My masseuse was attentive and did such a great job! This place really puts in the work and helped me with all my problem areas. Definitely setting up another appointment to go back!

First time here, I’m new in Philly. My standard for massages is high since I’ve been in south east Asia where Thai and Balinese massages are only $10 USD! I’ve been looking for a place that is just as high quality at a reasonable price.
I found it here at pain away in Chinatown, a very unassuming place from the outside.
My right shoulder had been in pain for weeks from sleeping incorrectly, it would hurt to move my arm in normal ways. It was interrupting my daily life.
I came here for a Tui Na massage which is hard to find elsewhere. They warmly welcomed me (I was early) and in 60 minutes I could feel a lot of release, healing and relaxation. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The pain in my shoulder was completely gone and I was so happy that a massage from here was medicine to my body! I will be back for sure (going to make it a monthly thing) and I highly recommend. The massages here are not just massages, they feel like a tune up of your body

Had our first massage tonight.i went in with a ton of pain and WOW. I walked out being able to move better than in a few months. I'm in my late 30s and work stress has been rough. I'll definitely be back to visit.

Great massage. However, I asked for reflexology. I definitely did not get reflexology despite saying it multiple times. I still give it a high rating because the massage was great, but
It is not what I wanted or kept asking for.

The best ever massage I have ever experienced. Very professional. Deep tissue, have very good knowledge with pressure points. 10/10 they really take your pain away:)

Ridiculous how they keep asking for tips. I see people complained about the same thing. English language problem or not, you shouldn't be asking for tips. Tips are not mandatory. Probably learning manners and being respectful should be first and English second.

It’s expensive and worth every penny. There was a bit of pain and we didn’t discuss the massage prior to starting, but afterwards I felt so much better. Not all my back pain went away, so I’ll go back for a few more sessions. I also recommend cupping!

Ask for jimmy! I got a better facial here than at ten thousand waves in Santa Fe. The massage itself was more like physical therapy than a normal massage, so good! He is super intuitive and can tell what hurts and how to fix it. Can’t recommend enough. I’m glad they charge a decent amount because it’s worth it but please tip a lot.

I work as a massage therapist. I've been here three times, so I recognize high-quality work when I see it. They are excellent at bodywork, but when I went in for a massage that was supposed to include work on my neck, they completely ignored it. Aside from that, I can't think of a better massage I've ever had. It has my highest recommendation. You have my highest recommendation. The employees are all very nice, and the methods they use are cutting-edge and highly effective. I know I'm getting the best service possible with Pain Away massage therapist.

Would have given 5 stars but first they are charging 80$ for 1 hour which is twice the price for most places, and then they have the nerve to beg for an extra tip. And the lady gave me a terrible attitude when I questioned it. Very disrespectful.
How about you take the money and say thank you instead of trying to manipulate people into giving you more money, this is not the restraunt business, stop harrassing people for more money.

I’ve had a massage from Eva that changed my life. This place is amazing! The massages aren’t designed to “feel good! ” They’re meant to relieve pain and heal. Today is the first morning in over a year that I didn’t wake up with back pain. I will return! My only qualm is the noise level. The employees were a little loud with there conversations outside the massage room. To be honest, the massage was so good, I’m just going to bring head phones because I refuse to try anyone else

Disappointed. Overpriced. Unfinished feel. I am used to traditional Asian style medical massages, I don't need a fancy spa feel. I just want a good therapeutic, medical massage as an endurance athlete.

I called specifically about hip pain, I arrived and there was nothing medical or deep tissue about it. I wasn't even given a chance to re explain my pain, and had to try to direct the therapist several times but he just ignored it. They say they have several types of massage, but you don't even know what you're getting because they don't tell you. They just charge $80 for everything and I would define as a very soft swedish massage.
