12Best Store in Pittsburgh for purchasing colorful winter stuffs. The owner lady is so kind. She gave me discount and also advised on how to take care of goods. Highly recommend- will buy from this shop on a regular basis
My girlfriend and I visited Pittsburgh last summer and found her store. She was very sweet and even gave us discounts! Highly recommend!
The owner is so kind and personable she's so helpful every time I visit! I stopped in close to closing time to get a pair of gloves for someone but they ended up being too small for the person, so I ran back to the store and they were closed, but reopened just to make sure I could exchange them for a pair that fit and was satisfied. Very good people, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Thank you again!
The best place to buy fun, ethnic jewelry. The lady who owns this store is from Peru. Almost everything in the store she imports from her native country. She is the loveliest person to chat with. Also, she offers discounts all the time. Her story's items are made from natural things found in various parts of Peru. Beautiful stones such as citrine, labradorite, amethyst and carnelian are found there. From natural plants come seeds of all types, nuts and leathery died orange peels rolled and formed into all sorts of necklaces and earrings. Love earrings? She's got tons, silver too. I've been shopping here for years. Mirrors, alpaca serapes and sweaters, dresses, alpaca hats and gloves, wonderfully bright purses and arts and crafts of Peru. Come in and shop. Your purchases help keep her family going and enable everyone in Squirrel Hill and beyond a chance to wear fantastic items imported straight from Peru for our enjoyment. Support small, adorable businesses!
Phenomenal little shop of Peruvian goods, clothing, jewelry, incense, and much much more. A hidden gem, definitely worth stopping at while in Pittsburgh. Owned by the sweetest people, from Cuzco as well! Highly recommend
Amazing. I'm a guy and they had this shirt on display for guys that I really liked. My jaw dropped when I found out it was only $20. A hand made shirt from Peru, high quality and only $20. It would of easily been a $30-$50 dollar shirt in any other store. Cecilia was very pleasant, polite and a great attitude. She is always ready with a smile. This store has mostly female attire so guys when you need something great for your girl and you really want to make her head spin head here and get her something. From purses to Knick-Knacks to jewelry to dresses/tops.
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful Peruvian clothes, jewelry, pottery, incense, and decorations! Everyone who is in squirrel hill or passing through should stop by and visit! I got a bracelet, llama statues, and a gorgeous flute necklace!
Wonderful selection of beautiful unique items! The store owner is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It's one of my favorite stores, and a perfect place to find gifts for people.
This place is amazing. Owner is really kind hearted and super informative on her culture. Will be visiting again.
When we lived in Pittsburgh, this was our favorite store. As others have mentioned, the owner is so kind, and there is lots of variety (in clothing, accessories, art, etc.). Very reasonable prices. Great store for shopping for self or gifts. My girlfriend is Peruvian, and she and the owner really connected— visiting was always a fun and special occasion.
We bought a wool sweater (very cozy, not itchy), dress, three scarves, a wooden-beaded bracelet, wool socks, a small llama figurine, a small/medium purse, and a painting of Mary. Everything has held up very well. Please visit Patiti Inti!
Note: Our last experience at Patiti Inti was in July 2019.
I have visited/shopped this place forever and bought from these local folks incredibly beautiful items, clothing, and more. I have never been disappointed with quality or the experience. The family that owns this business are humorous, honest, and genuinely want you to be happy with whatever you leave their store with. I totally recommend this place.
I stopped here on a whim while visiting my daughter and am so glad I did! The tiny shop is packed with beautiful jewelry, clothes and gifts. I am from the west coast and like to buy from independent business locally. If I lived in Pittsburgh, this would be one of the places I would come back to again and again. Bought two pairs of summery pants, a beautiful top, headscarf and several kids bracelets for my classroom prize box - very reasonably priced and good quality. The person who was at the shop, Fannie, was charming, helpful and fun to chat with as was the other customer that was in the shop while I was there. It seems like the kind of store that is fun to be a "regular" at. What a lovely place! I highly recommend you check it out!
