Cafe Panera Bread reviews
17 Oh my gosh.only order here if you order 30+ minutes ahead because they take a RIDICULOUS amountime.i didn’t even get my food yet and we ordered two sandwiches.im p1ssed tf off.how are the people here working so slow.i worked in restaurant and even in a rush it would never take this long! WHO TRAINED THESE EMPLOYEES? ! And the tables are never clean.im so disappointed, management needs to do some work because this is ridiculous.it’s been 11 minutes since they closed and NO FOOD STILL! AND I PAID $36! It should be for free at this point.as if my time isn’t valuable.i never get this upset because i work in costumer service but this is soooo bad.edit:
we got our food and before we got it, i heard an employee say “we have no more chicken”, and our sandwiches have chicken but i figured they would tell us directly if there was no chicken so we could substitute or get a refund… NOPE! Our sandwiches had no chicken: (at that point we weren’t even gonna say anything because i knows we’d have to wait at least 20 mins.you better believe i’m calling tomorrow!
No one at the counter during busy times, and even if you have the unlimited sip club, you have to order online and wait for them to bring a single cup for you which takes a long time.this beats the entire purpose of the unlimited sip club.
The time this cafe takes to prepare your food is double the time a farmer goes to the market, buys the seeds, sows them, tends the field, waits for six months, harvests the crop, loads it, sells it to the middleman, middleman sells it to Panera, Panera ships it to their warehouse, warehouse ships it to S Allen Street cafe, and only then the cafe delivers whatever the hell you ordered — in a gaaad damm year, only if you are lucky!
I heard stories from folks who graduated yet are still waiting for the order, they placed when they came to visit campus before they started!
Ps: I would be a billionaire if they paid for the time I spent here waiting for my order
Orders always late more then 20m and the stuff always in the bad mood the worst brunch ever i will not come here again!
The food is good, but the place is dirty. I go there often, and the place NEEDS a good cleaning. This morning my shoes were making a sticky noise the whole time, in the front of the store and even in the bathroom. Gross!
A couple of weekends ago there were bits of potato chips caught between the bottom and the back of a seat. They stayed there for 3 days.
On the tables one can see the marks of the "cleaning" cloths.
Not nice for a place that is at the center of town.
Take out order. 1 star knocked off for price and for forgetting one of our sandwiches. Other than that it was great.
One of the clerks gave me a dirty look when I ordered a meal.
Wait for a very long time to get the food.
Got my order completely wrong other than the correct bagel. Waited 25 min for food at 930 am
Do not order here, they will be late. Cancel your order and never tell you. It's almost 3pm I placed the order at 1, I am starving and have a ton of work to do otherwise I would go myself but that's the point of delivery.
When I first ordered they said it’s going to take 15-20 minutes not more, but after I waited half an hour they said it’s going to take another 20-25 minutes as well! They wasted my time waiting for nothing.
We showed up to pick up our pre-ordered breakfast (two egg white sandwiches) and the order ended up being 10 minutes late, despite there being almost no customers in the store. The containers were not closed properly, so the sandwiches were falling out of them when I checked the order. Customer service was nice at the register when I ordered a coffee, so I didn't have any problems with that. They might have to work on their rapid pickup process to make it a bit more efficient and less sloppy.
Not sure what's up with this location. The place is dirty inside and out. I stopped in at 8 a.m. On a Tuesday morning and the display case is totally empty of product. My order (not a special order, just one off the menu) of a breakfast sandwich took over 20 minutes to be made. The poor, nice lady behind me waited that long for a tub of cream cheese. If you want an enjoyable visit to a Panera, try choosing one of the other locations in town.
I don’t think I’ve come here once and got a full cup of coffee. Morning, afternoon, evening: No coffee.
I feel that I’m paying the sip club subscription for nothing (at least at this location)
The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The kiosk crashed when I tried to use a gift card to pay for my food erasing the money from the card and after a few attempts to use the card the manager just sent our order in for free.
Many things are not well managed: self-coffee is out of order, no cups available, no lids available.usually they are refilled very late.
The manager (Joe i believe is who i talked to) is LITERALLY AMAZING! I had a catering order with another location and they cancelled it and were extremely rude to me but this south allen location accommodated my needs AMAZINGLY! GO HERE over all other locations.
This Panera bread may get a little busy but that is no excuse for the Terrible service and terrible management here. This restaurant needs new management, kitchen upgrades, and comprehensive customer service training for all the employees. And please hire more cooks or equip your kitchen to handle the demand. And 90% of the staff are rude to you 100% of the time. If you can’t answer a question without an attitude quit your job, because you’re obviously not qualified to work here. I wouldn’t hire any of them anywhere.
