French Restaurant Parc reviews
16Beautiful French Cafe restaurant. You feel as though you're in France here. Love the decor. The service was good and efficient. We ordered the quiche Lorraine - delicious! And the cheddar omelette- not my favorite. Their coffee was not up to par for us. Aside from that the bread for the table was fantastic.
Good food, good dranks, good service, good location, good ambience, good times. Park your yourself at Parc and enjoy a good night. And brunch is bangin too. Who said Philly can't have nice things? We got Parc!
Delicious. Had the warm shrimp salad. So yummy. And the creme brulee as nice sweet treat. My waiters Rita & Cesar were on point as well.
Came here for dinner and ordered the steak-frites! The waitstaff was lovely and the food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time! This place was absolutely incredible I cannot wait to come back again!
Best brunch of my life. Had the egg white ratatouille and my friend the quiche Lorraine and if the was the last meal of my life I would say I died happily. Our waiter Talbert (sorry if it was misspelled) was the friendliest most professional server I have ever met. Now about the prices. So inexpensive for the meal I just had and the ingredients were top of the line that were definitely used. A must go to if you are in Philadelphia. Made me feel like I was in Paris again.
Parc is one of our favourite restaurants. The food was again delicious and plentiful. The bead was plentiful and the berry-nut bread as terrific as usual. The veal escalope had a superb cream sauce, to make a Frenchman proud. The onion soup gratinée was the best if any anywhere: great taste and tons of delicious cheese. The ravioli appetizer was too salty. The desserts were also excellent: crème brûlée and the chocolaté moelleux cake, creamy with a hazelnut sorbet that tasted like gelato. The service was also very good- very pleasant and accommodating, with good suggestions. They even brought us a small, complimentary plate of macarons and a candle to celebrate our anniversary. The inside is classic French bistro, but very noisy because of the hard floors and walls that don’t absorb noise.
Parc is a French bistro with the best of French food. The service is far above average. The atmosphere is very lively. It is a busy place where people gather and the location is next to a beautiful park which is also a busy gathering place. As close to being in France that You will find in the U. S.
Very misleading waitress. Didn’t clarify how the grand seafood plate is served. Asking personal questions like where are you from and why are you n philly which is actually not welcomed and asking specifically percentage for the tip!
It is pretty hard to give this place a bad review. This has become a classical restaurant in the city and makes you feel like you have walked into Paris. Try anything because everything is good.
A reliably good choice for food and beverage when on the Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia.
Their Chimay beer is amazing, limited supply 3 kegs for weekend. Highly recommend. Tried the Saturday brunch, waited for 40 minutes, a bit too long in my opinion. We asked for seating outside facing the Rittenhouse park, but got assigned to outdoor seating facing the alley.
Beautiful spot facing Rittenhouse Square.
Perfect Paris style French bistrot with the American pallet in mind.
Dont miss the fries!
Great food! Fantastic brunch menu and beautiful overlook of the park. Make a reservation if you want brunch, opentable! Though they were busy the service was impeccable. This is a mainstay for us to take people from out of town for a special experience that doesn’t break the bank.
It's nice to go for dinner or brunch and the food is delicious, but it is a very large restaurant. Sometimes it feels overwhelming.
Nice place, good location on Rittenhouse Square, food was average for the price and setting. Recommend but not highly.
We’ve been to this restaurant a few times prior and every time was great however, on this occasion it was unfortunate to have such awful service. I regret taking my sister and father there considering they were visiting from Los Angeles and I was hoping to impress them. It started when I asked our server (LIUBOV) to suggest a smooth glass of wine off their menu. She seemed bothered or irritated by my question then asked what do you mean? I replied that my father was interested in a not so dry or oaky red wine and if she can suggest one. Again, she looked at me rude/puzzled and asked one more time what did I mean- I blurted: Can you suggest a medium body wine and nothing too dry? !
I was surprised that she didn’t understand my question the first time considering she’s a waitress and it was pretty straight forward. I feel she did understand and not sure why she played naive or irritated with my simple question. Her personality and energy was so rude from the beginning that it made our whole dining experience uncomfortable. She would also disappear for 20min gaps and it took her another 15min to get me an extra side of horseradish for my Roast beef sandwich that I wasn’t even able to enjoy or finish due to her lack of service. The only time she smiled and was somehow friendly was when she dropped the checked (although I asked for it 3 different times). I don’t mind spending $200 for lunch but never when the service is this awful! We would never go back considering there are a lot more restaurants in this area with great food and better service!
