Parks Transfers & Recycle Center

I have used Parks garbage for at least 10 years. In those years I have never had a problem NEVER! When I call the office there is always a pleasant person that is knowledgeable of her job. I can’t say enough about the pick up men if by chance something might fall out on the ground they always pick it up. My container’s are always put back “ with the tops replaced correctly. I hear people complain about the price increases but I’m one that feels you get what you pay for.

Jeez, i didn't think their customer service could get any worse but they now answer the mount union number from West Virginia and they expect you to do their job for them. Trash hasn't been picked up in a month and they want me to write letters and do stuff online. No you're fired, it's that simple. Send me another bill and the attorney general's office can deal with your Bee ess.

Worst trash service I've had.don't pick up on time! Make excuses for non pick up of bulk items that have set there for an entire month and then finally after several calls pick up the bulk item.pure lazy workers.

Came home yesterday to one of Parks garbage trucks blocking my ENTIRE drive way. I had to go through my yard to get home. I live right next to a main road. NO DRIVER was occupying said truck. I call and she says she will call route supervisor right away. But still even after that it’s sitting in front of my driveway 20 minutes later. I have three children at home, what if god forbid I had an emergency, regardless even if I didn’t have an emergency common sense would tell any normal person you shouldn’t be blocking someones driveway. Anyway, so two guys come back and the driver of the truck had no consideration to even hear why I was frustrated that they did this he just blatantly ignored me. The second listened but was so egotistical he didn’t care enough to say sorry your right it won’t happen again and move on, no he wanted to argue that he can because he’s on the state right away, whatever that is (which isn’t even true because I called selinsgrove state police and they even confirmed NOBODY should be blocking anybody’s drive way regardless of the area). Really disappointed that I pay to use your trash service and your employees have no consideration for the well being of other people. Not to mention they weren’t even that at my house for me, they left their RUNNING truck in front of my drive way and walked about 50 feet down the road to do something else. Real responsible.

Went here in my roll off truck. Lady treated me like a jehovah witness. I won’t be back any time soon. I will take my business elsewhere.

While most of the reviews are negative, and maybe justified in the user's mind, I too have had some bumps in the road since starting service with Park's in Nov/Dec 2022. These bumps included a couple of instances where our pick-up was missed. But, after calling and speaking with one of the excellent agents, on the phone, it was rectified quickly. This is in no way an excuse, anymore, it is the reality of our time, but staffing has become a real issue; especially when demand rises, and sense of entitlement appears to be most important. With so many "creators of content" outnumbering the actual workforce, services are going to diminish. This is our new reality.
I appreciate the work of all of the staff at Park's, from the driver's, to the office staff, and to the yard workers. Without the services you offer, along with companies within your industry, we would be a society moving closer into chaos. If nobody believes me, take a look at what happens when workers, in this industry, go on strike (New York comes to mind). Maybe not to that extent, but nonetheless.

Terrible service. Saw they didn’t get my trash so I called and she said they were late and it was already 3pm the next day and she said they were gonna and they never did. Kinda upset. Think it’s refund for me

They constantly miss my house. I always have try call or go out to office in mount union. They never send my bill out in orderly fashion so I can pay it On time. Those ladies in the mount union office are bitties.

My aunt has been using parks for multiple years and hasn't had a problem at all until this year. They continue to miss our house so we have to repeatedly call them. Then out of the blue we get a phone call stating they are terminating our account because it's "to dangerous" to pick up our trash. Apparently they got a new driver on our route and he just don't want to pick up trash. I call that laziness. So now we have to go through another service. So if your looking for trash removal Don't ever use parks.

Misses my house frequently, I always have to call. The call center ladies are great to talk to but this service is horrible.

I'm going to cancel my service and go back to the old fashion way. Our township wanted to make things better but get a better garbage service. I never had this problem with Waste management, unfortunately they don't come to my area anymore.
