Racecourse Parx Racing reviews
19They need to hire more people or something. Two hours and I couldn't get a drink or did see a drink server in sight
Parx has dual purposes: during the week it’s more geared towards the serious horse racing aficionados, but on weekends and ‘event’ days, it’s more family friendly. It seems like the trend towards being more family friendly is on the rise, as witnessed on Pennsylvania derby day where face painting and merchandise booths abounded!
The food is surprisingly good for all events and there are a number of healthy choices offered.
It’s amiable and one can get up close to the pre race horses and crew.
Great place didn't win a race in 8 tries but what a rush. Beer's 2.50 can't beat it.
Parx Racing is a beautiful, comfortable place where you can enjoy the exciting horse racing with your family, I recommend it!
First time here in a while. Glad I did go. Very nice inside.beautiful bar area. Great service. Smarty Jones Derby.picked a good day. Definitely go again and I recommend this place. Good time.
Nice horse track. Live racing. Off track betting. Very clean. Good good.
Very efficiently run race program. Also slots and tables close by.
Fantastic, that we still have at least a few good racetracks on the East Coast! I would NEVER BRING my ponies up to the finger lakes in New York unless you REALLY WANT to ruin your horses blood lineage….
I wish they had more races other than three days during the week I wish the outside betting windows were open and I also wish that they would open the second floor again much better view from the second floor everywhere else you have to either watch TV or because you see the Giant scoreboard
Super fun day with friends betting! They host a million non live races so if your just looking to bet on the lives be sure to get a program from the front for the dailies!
I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Parx in person; but my boyfriend and I watch on FanDuel+ daily. I just wanted to give a big "Hell yeah" shout-out to Jessica Paquette. She has really found her style/flow. Her race calling gets better all the time. She does the racing industry proud
They family and fun horse racing event. They of lot of place and fun watching horse racing with kids. They organized free Family fun event, which is very good for kids to enjoy pony ride, face paintings and lot.
. Great fun for families. Some air-condition seating. But better to go on a comfortable day.
It's a friendly place to watch ponies race. They let you feed the horses in the paddock area.
Had a good time at the Parx racing track. They allow coolers and food, just no alcohol as they have a few bars set-up throughout the picnic grove area. You can place cash-only bets starting at $2 on each race, which was fun for a family event.
It was really packed but very good time. 4stars because they have a lot of people with limited room
The woman who calls the race is horrible! The worse I ever heard! She stumbles over her words! Can’t get names of horses or jockeys right! Doesn’t seem like she’s watching the same race we are! I know we need more woman in the sport but can you at least find one that is Competent!
We came to parx in the past for events with the kids and had a great time. The past few years they have hiked the price on food and activities, you cannot get a table unless you arrive hours before an event starts and the benches out front are outdated. There is not much shade unless you bring your own. The playground is a nice feature.
Desperately needa updating amd more affordable food/activities.
Had a great time with my family food was good and the races was fun to watch and great on time
