Pat's Colonial Kitchen reviews
20Breakfast menu offered some nice variety of choices. My omelette was tasty but thought it included apple cheddar and sausage. But no sausage? Nice service
Clean & cozy. Attentive staff & quick service. The menu is straight forward, and plates have a homemade presentation.
The place is divided into two parts. One side is very cute with a "colonial" feel. The other side feels like it was a retail shop they just cleared out & set up with tables.
Also, the bathrooms are not good, with doors that don't close & toilets to small for comfort. All in all, it was only alright, although we did enjoy the sticky buns & the homemade jam was very tasty.
For us, not a destination.
Love the food here. Since the remodel there is so much more space, they even have some antiques and jewelry you can browse and shop if there is a short wait. Eggs Benedict and quiche are some of the best I have had. Definitely caters to smaller parties.
Small restaurant that has a nice cozy feel to it. There's not a lot of space so on a Saturday or Sunday morning I could see people have trouble with getting a table.
I had a western omelette and was pleased with it. Solid breakfast spot!
Went here for lunch with my wife was presently surprised at how good it was and disappointed that we've lived right down the road for years and didn't even know about it.
I love coming here for breakfast, the staff and always warm and friendly and I've never had a bad meal here.
Very friendly waitresses
The food is excellent looks like an old fashioned house from the outside also can eat outside as well as inside the food is excellent hard to find today
Pats Colonial Kitchen if a favorite for breakfast in Newtown, PA. There is nothing fancy, just good old feel good breakfast foods. We did feel bad on Sunday we arrived at 7: 30 and there were probably 10 tables seated and on server. By 8: 30 the server challenge was solved. The one server who did open by herself did a wonderful job juggling a very difficult service situation. We are new to Newtown and will go back to try this popular spot again
My omelet was well done on outside and slimy on the inside. Waitress said I will get you a new one. Same omelet came out, did they put that back on the griddle!? Unsanitary! I won't go back nothing great.
The food here is awesome for a good price! It gets super busy on the weekends so get here early! I'm so glad this place expanded so now there are more tables!
I love this place. It’s quaint, with a nice outdoor sitting area. Great location downtown Newton. Food is very tasty and service is great.
Food is delicious and my server (I really wish I got her name, she was the pretty blonde woman) was very kind and attentive. I was by myself doing homework and she made me feel super comfortable and told me I could hang around as long I wanted. I really appreciate that because since I was a table of 1, I felt like I should leave as soon as I was finished eating so that I don’t hog up a servers table. But she made me feel super comfortable and welcomed and the total opposite of rushed! Awesome place all around!
We had such a good experience here! The chocolate chip pancakes were to die for. The ommlettes looked delicious! It was so worth waking up early to come here on the weekend. Great atmosphere as well.
Very nice place. I have only been here for breakfast very good food, the staff are very friendly.
Best place for early breakfast with great service and warm greeting. Everything is tasty, like in grand mom’s kitchen!
Never had a better omelette than the one served here. They make everything to order (they literally chops there vegetables and break the eggs only when someone orders it). Sweet friendly staff is a cherry on the top. One of the best places to have breakfast.
The food was great our waitress Bella was phenomenal they even make their own jelly which is out of this world! Cozy atmosphere, wonderful food I highly recommend!
Our server was really nice and the food came out quickly but the breakfast potatoes were very greasy. The veggie omelet was delicious though!
Not from the area, was here for ball games, ordered from Pat's because it looked good, besides the fact that they barely put any potatoes in either of our omelet meals, they didn't put any plastic wear in our bag but assured us at pick up they did and it was in there, got back to fields and we didn't have any so we had no way to eat our food, then when my husband called to complain he was given a very rude attitude on the phone, first and last time there
