If you can just stay away! The communication sucks! And from the receptionist to the MD, they are all slow sadly. MD would forget his train of thought in the middle of a sentence, and repeated the same questions like 10 times. The receptionist was just as forgetful, gave me the wrong date/locations for my procedures. Even wrote my name wrong! I think it’s time for everyone in that office to retire!

This place is absolutely ridiculous. After my first appointment, it took over a month for anyone to call me and schedule my follow-up procedures to get a diagnosis.

When I did finally get a prescription for an ultrasound (which came in the mail for some reason?) the staff at the place where I actually got an ultrasound was flabberghasted by the fact that he had clearly "photocopied a prescription for someone else and stuck my name on it" and that it was to look at areas that I'd already had a CT scan of earlier that month. They tried to call his office for clarity but SURPRISE! They couldn't get ahold of anyone. The phones always say they are "at lunch or closed" no matter what time you call and you get connected to a call center that can't help you with anything.

My endoscopy went fine. They told me they'd set up me up with a prescription to take care of a bunch of ulcers. Three weeks have passed now and I have no medication.

In the meantime, I also had a colonscopy. His staff called me and gave me preparatory instructions for an endoscopy instead. Thankfully, I'm actually paying attention. Whoever was working in the office called me three separate times to get a pharmacy to send my prep into, but they didn't still didn't send in the prescriptions for my ulcer medication. I just missed ANOTHER phone call asking for me to send them a pharmacy because there "isn't one on my file. " I've even sent it in an e-mail hoping that would push things along, but I suspect they have a blackhole somewhere in their office that absorbs all attempted communications at this point.

I'm not sure if they hire an extra-slow breed of turtles to do all of the office work or if everyone is completely incompetent, but it really doesn't bode well to be paying for a specialist who doesn't bother actually treating you after a diagnosis. I'll be taking my business elsewhere ASAP. At this rate, I'd advise anyone to just go somewhere else that has a six month wait list.
