Peace Valley Park reviews
15This is a great park with many selections to do. Walk, jog, bike around the lake. Kayaking and pedal boarding are popular.
This is a well-maintained lakeside park. There is a nice paved 6 mile multiuse trail that circles around the lake.
Beautiful place! I recently started walking a few miles a day and this place is perfect for an afternoon walk! The views are great!
Go there for paddleboardingand kayaking. The name says it all. When it is not crowded, you can enjoy the birds singing, and yes, peace, just silence
As it named Peace Prevail from all Directions and Get a change to Breath freely, This park has lot to offer, It has walking, running and Biking trail around Lake. Park has pavellions which could be available by booking for event, They have rest rooms and Electric car chargers. You can rent a peddle boat, Kayak for 30 min. Many things you can do by yourself and with family at peace.
I Love this county park because it's close to home. We bike and walk around the lake ob the paved path. We enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake as well. Plenty of shaded areas with tables to sit and read or have a picnic.
I wish there were more trails that cut through the wooded areas.
I absolutely LOVE Peace Valley Park. I personally come here to meditate. I absolutely love the nature center, so check that out. In the nature center, you could purchase souvenirs like jewelry, crystals, books, puzzles, and more.
The park is very clean and it is a great place to bring friends and family. There are lots of grounds to have a picnic and you would see a beautiful overview of the lake. Bring a kayak if you'd enjoy being in the water.
Place is beautiful, but the 2.5 rangers kick people out at sunset.didn't realize this lake was on communist China.
Great place for a 5-6 mile walk. With the lake adding to the beauty. Watch out for open areas during the sun, restrooms are far and few, start prepared.
I was on a bike on a Sunday morning. The path was quite crowded with walkers. They co-operated by letting me by.
Beautiful ride thru woods for a good part of the ride. I will be back.
A nice place to walk with them lake visible at many places along the trail. It's especially nice if you can visit
on a weekday, when it's less crowded.
The best place to walk around. The name "peace valley" is truly what it is. I love to take my dogs here. There's plenty of space for walkers, runners, bikers, dogs. Since it is a 6 mile loop, there are many different entry points, too. There are also plenty of picnic tables and garbage cans around the lake. It's a good spot for lunch or reading a book. In the future, we are really looking forward to renting kayaks here!
First time back in 20 years. Lots of improvements, but still a quiet refuge with plenty of spots to relax.
The name says it all! Quiet and peaceful, even with a lot of people around. Everyone respects your privacy and personal space.
We enjoyed our visit to the park. Well maintained play areas, picnic Pavillion, and of course boating area. Picnic tables were available in the shade but within sight of the boats and people skateboarding. It was a quiet respite from the day. Thanks
