I find Peck's Septic Service very customer oriented and easy to deal with.

We hired Peck's Septic to do a pump out and inspection of the 3 tanks on our property, as required by our township. The service was scheduled for 12/23/22. The previous owner of our property used Peck's Septic, and we chose to also use this company, as they would be familiar with our property, but unfortunately, they were not. A few weeks after the service, we received a receipt in the mail with a note that they could not locate the 3rd tank. They pumped the tank at the garage (cap buried underground), and 1 tank at the house. Both tanks at the house have exposed caps that you would have to be completely blind not to see. Anyway, we called in January asking them to come finish the job and pump the 3rd tank. They said they would put in on their schedule. Several weeks went by, tank not pumped. We called, they said they were short staffed, and would get it squeezed in. Several weeks went by again, tank not pumped. Now it is 3/22/23,3 months after the service was supposed to be completed, and when I called them again, I was told that not only are they short staffed, but according to the owner, our tank is not urgent. Also, I would be assessed an additional $125 "truck" fee for them to show up to pump the tank that they should have pumped when they were here in December. I asked if there was any way that truck fee could be waived, considering it should have been completed back in December. I was told by the manager that she would have to check with the owner to see if he "is interested" in waiving the fee. I decided at this point that considering we are now going beyond 3 months since the service should have been completed, we no longer wish to have Peck's Septic complete the job they failed to do in the first place. We will hire another company to come do the job from start to finish, even it if costs us double. This is terrible customer service. You need to consider your choice of words and do better to correct your mistakes and make your customers happy.

Our neighbors recommended Peck's, and sure enough, their service was outstanding. They pumped our sewage tank in less than 30 minutes and replaced our ratty looking tank cover. Because we recently moved into our house, I asked their employee Andy a lot of questions about the condition of the tank and how to care for our septic system. He is a wealth of knowledge and very personable!
