Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line, Bryn Mawr PA

I had an incredibly awful experience at this office. I feel compelled to share my disappointment due to the concerning behavior I encountered there.

During my visit, my child was absolutely terrified of getting their teeth cleaned. The nurse, unfortunately, seemed unable to soothe my child's fears. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she called another nurse to forcefully restrain my child on the chair. This approach was not only inappropriate but also alarming. My child, who had never been treated in such a manner before, was understandably crying, struggling, and kicking in fear. It's deeply distressing to think that my child was subjected to such a traumatic experience.

The cleaning procedure was rushed and completed in a mere 10 minutes. Shockingly, I was then presented with a bill of $100 for this subpar service.

The behavior of the nurses further compounded my negative impression of this office. They displayed extreme rudeness and lack of empathy. To my astonishment, they openly discussed my child's situation in a sarcastic manner, intentionally loud enough for me and others in the vicinity to hear. This kind of behavior is beyond disrespectful and is a clear display of unprofessionalism.

It's essential not to be deceived by the charming decor of the office. Despite its appealing appearance, this place is marred by an environment of cruelty, aggression, and ill intentions from its staff.

I would strongly caution anyone considering visiting this office to think twice. My experience has shown that appearances can be deceiving, and the treatment I received from the staff was completely unacceptable. No one should have to endure such a distressing encounter, especially when seeking medical care for their child.

Dr. Harshaw is AMAZING! Unfortunately, our family dentist overlooked sealing my daughter's 6 year molars which resulted in all 4 teeth with cavities! Someone recommended him to me. He is in Bryn Mawr and we live in Glen Mills, but after one phone call with Alecia we were sold! And after the first visit, we will be patients for life here! He is amazing with kids and is well worth the drive!

My son is a very anxious child, but he made it through 2 fillings and an extraction with no issues.

Nice practice. Nice doctors. You are occasionally taken late, but usually on time I'd say. One day they were running especially late (30 minutes) and I would have appreciated a phone call notification so we wouldn't have had to sit. Also, they will change your appt time without a phone call, so be aware of that. You'll receive a text reminder a few days before and the time could be different that what was originally scheduled. For our most recent visit I received 2 separate confirmation texts same day for 2 different times and neither was for the original time I scheduled.
