4Decided to surprise my daughter with a trip to Pelicans after school, and she loved it. The gentleman (owner?) that waited on us was very kind and gave a great suggestion of topping off my snoball with marshmallow cream so yummy will definitely swing by again before the season ends.
I am new to NEPA but finding a Pelicans just down the road makes me homesick for my home state of SC and all the wonderful memories of taking my kids thier when they were growing up.
The staff and owners are just super friendly, quick and always with a big smile. Again, all southern traights in my book.
I definitely say give this place a try! Cute exterior, fun theming and over 100 flavors! You can sit and eat there and play lawn games. Product is cute but $4 for kiddle $5 for regular means it is the most expensive iced product in the area. I tried banana and the flavor was good - tasted like the banana twin pops. Texture is good. Only complaint is price and it is sticky! Melts quick. Also turning left onto birney ave to get out is pretty hazardous - parking is good though! Still a rita's girl but give this place a try it's good to see new businesses in this area.
Staff was very friendly! Lots of flavors to choose from. We ordered kid-sized carrot cake & iced tea. Both were delicious. All flavors are GF. Credit cards accepted.
