Best music store I've gone to by far. It's cozy, homie, great staff, lots of variety and above all they get the job done. Need to fix your beloved instruments, this is the place you can trust.

Great deals on everything u need. Only thing is sometimes u might have to wait awhile if they don't have it to order it for u. I do recommend that u shop there u won't be disappointed

Beth just helped me put a new bridge, tuners, and pick ups in a new Epiphone Casino. Their staff was awesome and the quality of the work is second to none! I will bring every one of my guitars there. They made sure my guitar was perfect and it is perfect. Highly recommended

Penn Ave Music has a wonderful staff full of knowledge. Kathy is a wonderful owner and all around awesome person. I've taken many guitars there and Beth has worked on them all from my 1951 gretch 1965 gibson sg and many more.i will not let anyone touch my guitars except Beth. They are a awesome Co.and will go the extra mile to get what you need at a very reasonable price. I give them 100out of100.

Awesome staff that are knowledgeable & friendly. They go the extra distance to help you out with whatever you might need. A great example of why to avoid the chain stores and support local business.

I have been here several times - mostly for strings but also had a neck strap button installed. The staff is always very nice and helpful. I had Beth do a setup on my Telecaster and liked it so much I just had her do my Martin. Awesome work!

I can’t say enough about the awesome customer service I received from Penn Avenue Music. One of the best hidden gems I’ve come across since moving to the Reading area. Needless to say this is my go to store for all my guitar needs, and I’m proud to support local. Also, I highly recommend Beth for guitar set ups!

Received amazing service, and while not expecting it, a minor repair was performed on my banjo for free! The guy who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable, and really made me feel like he valued me as a customer. I learned more about my Banjo in this trip than the jokers at Guitar center were able to teach me and left with some really affordable gear!

I absolutely depend on Mark, Kathy, and Beth for all my band/guitar/singing stuff. They rock. They are great people who will work with you to get what you need. Music lessons, gear rental, guitar sales, drum accessory sales, all kinds of stuff. The best!

Very helpful staff, we've gone there for mics and equipment for our theater group for years now. Super helpful any time we've needed anything or had a problem with anything! I highly recommend them!

Walked in a few weeks back to inquire about drum lessons for my 8 year old son. Store manager (Zack) was super friendly and put me in touch with their drum instructor. Scheduled my son's first lesson last night and arrived early so we had time to check out the store. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly to my son and his instructor, Shane, made him feel super comfortable. He had a blast and looks forward to continuing his lessons. Highly recommend them for all your music needs!
