They actually listened to me and help try to figure out what my issue was instead of treating me like just another person or dollar sign. Dr. Uchendu is great. Im glad I chose her as my new gyn.

I have been a patient at this practice for 20 years. It used to be a great office, and the staff were remarkable. Two different doctors delivered 2 of our children, and a third performed a D&E. Excellent knowledge base and trustworthy care. All of these providers retired. Now, I have yet to find a provider that stays very long or isn’t a traveling physician. The office must always be understaffed because they no longer answer the phone. It is phone tag when trying to schedule appointments. The final kicker is that I was to have a significant procedure, and they called me the day before to tell me it was cancelled—just barely 24 hours beforehand. I am sad to leave but it’s time to find another practice that can provide satisfactory care.

Staff are friendly, but it's SO difficult to get ahold of the office. Also, a lot of miscommunication. We were told we'd be scheduled with different doctors to become comfortable with them all since the one delivering our baby would be whichever doctor was on call.when I went into labor and during my entire stay in the hospital, I did not see anybody I knew. When I asked them about it at my follow-up appointment, they said none of them actually do the delivering except for 1 doc who only does it every once in a while/ part-time.really odd. Again, friendly staff so if you're willing to ignore all the other stuff, then you'll be fine

The providers themselves seem amazing. However, getting to see one is an entirely different process.
Upon check in, make sure the office has your name and DOB correct.

Prescriptions- office reports they sent, pharmacy never received. Office also claims they don’t have the ability to print out a paper script (they can, only a select few know how).

Communication- lots of phone tag. Even if you follow up with a message in the portal- things don’t really start to move unless you show up in person and speak to someone.

If you have complex medical needs, need close attention paid to medication management, or expect clear communication from office staff- seek care elsewhere because this is not it.

The last two times I have been at this office they were able to schedule me with a week. I was having some concerns and they were able to schedule me an appointment in 3 days. Each person I had contact with were very nice and polite. I saw Heather at my most recent appointment and she was great. She listened to my concerns, gave helpful info, and always kept me included during the exam. I was hesitant about this office at first because of the reviews, but overall I'm blessed to have had good experiences so far.

Very difficult trying to get in to be actually seen. If you are not pregnant, forget it. If you are having an issue, you might as well go to urgent care because they won't call you in anything and you can't get in for an appointment unless you wait weeks. What's the point of being an active patient there. The office/ reception staff and the phone nurses were extremely rude. They do not care about you. Cattle is treated better.

The worst.

Providers are nice while they talk to you but honestly you’re just another number. They aren’t thorough and they just want to move on to the next person. They don’t care. The office communication is AWFUL. Getting ahold of someone is difficult. You end up leaving lots of voicemails. Scheduling is also a joke.

It takes days to schedule an appointment because no one seems to answer a phone EVER! Also, I found out I do have something wrong and they never called me to tell me what meds I need to get better.awesome

If I could rate this place 0 stars I absolutely would. I’ve had quite a few issues during my pregnancy. I moved here to Pennsylvania from another state and my ob care previously was an amazing experience. This one? They’re a joke. This whole time I’ve ive had concerns and bodily issues that I’ve gone over with them and they do nothing about it. You call the office? Nobody ever answers the phone so you have to leave a message, that nobody ever listens to or gets back to you about. I have blood clotting disorders and they apparently cannot even take my blood at the ob to check me to make sure my blood is okay before labor. My next issue is I have GBS, I explained to them my last daughter came very quickly and that I had no epidural or anything, I had her within the hour so if this pregnancy was anything like that one then there’s no way I’d have enough time to get the ivs necessary for my baby during labor. You’d think this would raise more concern to them to make sure my baby is healthy. I’m also now 38 weeks, and never in my life have I heard of an ob not checking for dilation. They pull you in, talk to you and then make you leave in a matter of minutes without actually caring for your needs and concerns. Please, look for another Ob than this one.

I would not recommend this OBGYN office. They were not the kindest when our baby at 10 weeks wasn’t seen on an ultrasound and told us there is a 50/50 chance we miscarried without doing anything but the internal. Not the most professional thing to say to an expecting mother. I then started receiving bills in the mail from them and my insurance denying the claims. My insurance said it was the way they coded it. After 4 calls and messages to the office manager, I received a very unprofessional voicemail from her stating that I wouldn't have received bills yet (thank goodness I did since the way they were coded my insurance was denying and I was able to switch to another OBGYN) and that she didn’t feel it was necessary for me to call her back. I have since been fighting with the Penn State Health billing department to dispute the claims and have them look at re-coding them. I have since tried to call the office manager- advice from the billing department, with no surprise, no call back. They don’t truly care for their patients and it shows starting with the office manager.

I moved out of state and was afraid to find a gynecologist until the best gynecologist michel in camp hill arrives here and how they treat patients is incredible!

I wouldn't recommend this place. I got a email to come in for labs. Prior to this I didn't get any call or email. So I rushed in only to be told are system is down and we can't look you up. With my spouse work schedule this is a inconvenience. He just got off working 12 hours only to have to rush me in for nothing. Also all there appointments are done thought email. They don't bother calling instead which is easier.

If your pregnant go somewhere else.

Best GYN practice I have ever been to. I have no complaints. Follow-up appointments, ultrasound and other tests far superior to all other previous GYN experiences elsewhere. Most professional, knowledgeable, and respectful.

I go to the Camp Hill office, and I cannot recommend this place enough. I chose this practice because they practice Creighton and NaPro, so I figured they would be good at diving into any potential issues related to hormones. They truly understand how every person is different, so they treat to the specific person's needs. Since my last annual where I discussed some issues that were really impacting my day to day life/health, I can honestly say my quality of life is night and day! Even my family has noticed some significant and positive changes in me since starting my specific treatment plan. I am SO SO thankful for this practice!

For my first 2 pregnancy I was at the Camp Hill office (2012 and 2014) and my third pregnancy (Nov 2019- July 2020) I went to this Harrisburg office. I've never had a bad experience at either location. Everyone is super friendly and I love all the nurses and doctors! I still had some of the same doctors and nurses as I did 6 and 8 years ago, which I love! I've never waited more than 10 minutes to get back to a room at this location. Almost always within 5 minutes. So happy they added this location as camp hill office was always pretty busy and had longer wait times for scheduling appts and waiting to go back to a room.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
