I called their office 4 days ago. I have stage 4 Endo and I’ve had numerous surgeries. My pain meds weren’t even working. Been calling daily and they keep saying we will figure it out. We will call you back nothing. My pcp had no appointments and this is a gyn issue. Finally said I can’t work. Can’t walk. Hurts any other way then the fetal position. Ended up in the ER. They found I had a ruptured hemorrhagic cyst. Got some other pain meds in me. And told me to follow up w gyn following morning. Lady calls me from scheduling once I’m discharged from the hospital and says we can schedule you with a nurse tomorrow but I’ll call you early morning and make sure cause you need to see an MD. Don’t want you to waste a trip. No one calls me. I called them back and they said if you have severe pain we would just send you to the emergency room here. I said I’m headed back to the ER now. So now I’m sitting back in the ER. Thank God it was the same ER doc from yesterday and they aren’t poking and prodding me again. No response from my PCP or GYN. To have pain and be in this position not knowing who will help me when they have my chart and history is scary and anxiety provoking. You don’t treat patients like this. This is wrong on so many levels.

So far, I'm very happy with Dr. Dave. He's so thorough and knowledgeable, has a passion for this work; he's gone into overtime with me both appointments so far. I don't mind being in the waiting room extra to see him because I hope he does this with many of his patients. He emphasizes a team-approach with different specialists to treat complex gyn health issues. Only doctor I've ever had to take the time to explain next steps.won't leave you hanging. Now they just need to make the PSHM portal more accessible so I can talk to him in the weeks between!
Next looking at laparoscopy to confirm/treat Endo if it's present. Only -1 * because I need to know more before I schedule the surgery. Just nervous about the time it takes to heal and don't want other complications.

The holy spirit has left Holy spirit. Nursing staff leaked information. Unkind and unprofessional receptionist (Lucinda). Transfered me to nurses (Bethany and unknown) only for me to be on speaker phone as they laughed about my information. May our saviour come and cleanse the blasphemists from this holy named place. May God send his fury upon those who shame the holy spirit name. We pray for justice in Jesus name Amen

I was hurt physically during a routine exam! It was horrific! The doctor SHOVED the speculum and opened it causing me to see stars and almost black out from pain! I even lost feeling in my legs and fell off the table. I was crying in pain and told the doctor to stop and she didn't and she ignored my pleas to stop because it hurt tremendously. I fell again in the waiting room and was crying and couldn't even drive myself home because of the pain. I was referred to their best doctor and he told me that I have a complication because of my autoimmune response. He was great but he retired and now I have a new doctor for the next appointment. Will it be another sadistic and inexperienced doctor? I'll update this review if they actually read my chart and use the proper tools on me.

Over the course of my several visits here, I was never able to see the same provider, so there was not good continuity of care. The providers I saw ranged from thorough and caring, to inexperienced and rushed. I wasn't thrilled to constantly be scheduled with 1st year residents when I was receiving follow up care from a hospital stay. The final straw for me was when I tried to schedule a routine annual exam and was told they don't schedule those in the evenings, and they also didn't have any appointments on the few weekdays I had off work. They suggested I go to the Camp Hill office for evening appointments when I live in Manheim. I transferred to a different practice because I'm not taking a day off work to go to a routine OBGYN appointment.

EXCELLENT CARE. Reading some of these reviews is disheartening. Both pregnancies I was referred down to Hershey for second opinions. They were excellent about getting me scheduled right in. I was even a few minutes late and they still saw me (I live 2.5 hours away). My first pregnancy (2016) they explained that my daughter could have clubbed feet, but it was hard to tell with her positioning during the ultrasound. They said they doubted it, but wanted us to be aware should it actually be the case. My second pregnancy (2020) I was referred to them because my son's anatomy scan showed something concerning with his heart. He wasn't cooperative for them so they wanted to make sure and not just rule out bad imaging. Again, was scheduled right in and was seen. They infact confirmed there was something wrong with his heart. They referred me to Pediatric Cardiology at Penn State (also excellent care there!). I was scheduled to deliver with Hershey this time due to his heart. I was scheduled to be induced at 39 weeks. I had to relocate to Hershey at 38 weeks incase I went into labor early. Care at the hospital was excellent. Absolutely wonderful. I ended up having an emergency C-section and hemorrhaged bad. They got me back to myself in a few days.

I will agree wait times were long while waiting to be seen in the waiting room and after being brought back to a room, but it was worth it! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent OB care, especially with high risk pregnancy.

Tried to make an appointment as a new patient and they don't even have the decency to call back. "We check our voicemail frequently and will get back to you" is obviously a lie.

Terrible experience. Every time I come for my appointment I have to wait way past my appointment time to see provider. No matter even if I come earlier than arrival time. I also have to wait long time in examination room. This is happening every time and being working full time it really creates trouble.

Worst place to go when you have an issue,
They dont care about health
My wife had a lot of issues but they wont schedule an appointment
Appointment is a month later so they are like oh well you have complications go to primary care

Please look somewhere else
If you wanna be alive

I was denied a regular exam multiple times at this place after other years of relatively good care. The ultrasound and other techs here ignored my problems with no diagnosis and blew me off. I still have troubles I went there with it’s hard to find a good practice to begin with but this place was nasty to deal with I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I do not recommend this place. I was not happy with my initial visit, I was told things that were contradicted by multiple other doctors, I felt like my needs were not addressed, and I was not happy with the follow up care, many issues with communication and could not get a hold of the actual doctor I saw, I had to basically spout off my entire PMH every time I talked to someone on the phone and carry over was lacking. I was told this was a "specialist" but this was the worst gyno experience I've had thus far.

Dealt with them up to 36 weeks pregnant and now I'm transferring to a new OB because the staff is very insensitive to your needs. They prescribed me medication I didn't need which made me rush to the ER for bad reactions. I have many problems related to my pregnancy and they tell me to get counseling for it. The ultrasound technicians rush and are terrible at taking pictures and don't make you feel like it's anything special. I was spoken to rudely by many nurses and the midwives there are lazy. Never again and worst experience. Don't go to this place seriously.

WORST Service Ever! I went today for my first OB visit, My husband is a physician at Penn state and I thought it made sense to go through the same institution for my pregnancy. Unfortunately, this was the worse care I ever had.
I arrived at my appointment at 10: 15a as scheduled. I didn't wait long before they put me in a room. Once there, a nurse or tech came to take vitals and asked me to change into a gown and wait for the doctor.
40min went by and literally no one came to see me. I ended up walking to the hall in my gown to ask if they forgot about me.
After that, a resident came to my room (I hope she was a 1st year resident because she was very lacking in medical knowledge and manners - she didn't introduce herself or know the right terminology - kept calling a D&C a D&N!)
She simply read my patient information sheet with minimal additional/clarifying questions and didn't even apologize for being late or leaving me in a gown for 1h by now with zero work being done. I explained to her that I needed an US to see how the baby is doing because I have a history of miscarriages.
She left to check with the attending physician, Dr Sarah K Horvath. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, they all came back (the resident, Dr Horvath and the assistant). I should point out that Dr. Horvath never even introduced herself. I only knew her name because the nurse/tech said she would be in. Dr. Horvath and the resident then started doing the Ultrasound, and to my BIG disappointment, NOT one of them was able to use the machine. They didn't know how to use the doppler or measure the heartbeat. They also didn't know how to measure the baby and calculate a gestational age. All they were able to say is that "there is a baby and there is a heart beat. " I had no idea whether the baby was ok, if it was measuring where it should be or if the heartbeat was adequate. That was the primary reason I came to this appointment and got no information! Very Disappointing!
They told me I can schedule an ultrasound another time and the Doctor left the room - no words to me to explain next steps, or give me any advice on my medications, or what I should expect - NOTHING! She also did not complete a physical exam to confirm the new resident's findings.
I spent over 2h (over 1h30mn naked under a gown) and basically left with ZERO care!
How on earth is this a teaching institution where the Doctor herself is unable to use the US machine or show good bedside manner to her learners.
VERY disappointed at the level of care and lack of professionalism of this place.
I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone and hope that management reads this review and takes actions to improve the service provided. This is a real shame for a teaching institution!

Were it not for having an excellent endo specialist, I would seek another practice. For years their phone service has been horrendous. Trying to get an appointment scheduled would be less of a headache to physically drive to the office to schedule. The phone system will have you on hold for an excessive amount of time. I was on hold this morning for six minutes waiting to make an appointment, was hung up on, and have been now waiting for over 15 minutes after immediately calling back. This place seriously needs to reevaluate their standard of care for existing patients trying to reach out be seen for follow up and fix their phones!
