Penn Waste, Manchester PA

If I could leave this place a one star I would they haven’t picked up my trash i over 4 weeks now and I was never late paying my bill so that’s not a problem I call them everyday and they say they will email the route supervisors to pick it up and it’s never picked up I paid my bill every single time I even pay it early so what’s going on here?

This company’s workers are the laziest people in York! I’m sick of watching them do 20% of their job because they’re to lazy to get out of the truck! I have to pay for this worthlessness AND I’ve had to go out just to make sure they take the trash because they LOVE putting orange stickers on things they don’t feel like dealing with! Abd people think we should tip these people! That’s hilarious! Here’s a tip! Do your job.

This morning I watched as a young worker on 424 sanitarium vehicle sweep a neighbor's glass up that had fallen to the ground. His name is Jamal. He always has a smile for you and a wave and he's just such a pleasure to watch him work when he comes through Thank you for hiring this new crew I just love them.

How do you get them to answer your email or phone calls? I have a question about pickup and they don't answer the phone and I submitted a note via their website - no response. Ridiculous

We recently set up a commercial account with Penn Waste. Rachel Quinn stopped by the office to personally introduce herself and complete an on-site inspection. She provided us with a timely and very competitive quote. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Overall very pleased with Penn Waste's professionalism, timeliness and of course the unbeatable price for waste removal!

Too lazy to pick up the recycles that fell out of can that blew over from either wind (mother nature), or passing traffic. Clearly just left it there. Told they can't step on our property, but these are not technically on our property as our property stops at the tar line. This is just pure lazy! Windy day and we will just leave it there. This is not the the first time we have had issues with Penn. When I call, they tell me I need to stand with the cans until picked up, or make a structure to hold the cans there.ummm, NO! I normally am at work on a Monday, but today I am WFH. I happened to watch the whole thing happen. They are a joke of a company. Lazy drivers and "pick up" people.

Update - We have since dropped their service due to multiple ongoing issues. Save yourself the trouble and use another hauler.

Usually standard pickup but every so often I come home to this nonsense. Trash/recycling just scattered around the bins. Laziness/carelessness, unacceptable.

The worst company I forget to take the trush out ao I had to wait for them to pick the trush from cross the steet around when I toke the trush the guy who dump the trush wants to take the trush from me but driver he refuse to take it from me he told me go back I'm not gonna take it is like he is taking it for free he forget he get paid by my money!

Rachel Q.has been my service rep for several years. The prices are always more than competitive, and the service is responsive and outstanding. I don't write many reviews, but I thought this was worth mentioning.

If you don't want your trash picked up definitely use them if you have an issue and need help but nobody helps you, you found the right company. They hire people who don't like to work and have no respect for the company

Penn Waste has been very frustrating! I would give 0 stars if I could but it won’t let me post a review with less than 1 star.

We recently moved into a new home in a newly built community. First, they will not let us cancel our service at our previous house in the township because it’s a policy in the township that every home has to have trash service. So, we are currently paying for service at a vacant house with no trash until the closing next month!

Second, at our new place, they have not picked up our trash (or our other two neighbors trash) along our back alley for the past three weeks on trash day. They drive down the main road but not down the back alley where we have been told to put our cans. We keep having to call and complain and they say “we will put in a work order. ” At one point when we called two weeks ago (and had about 8 bags of trash from being skipped so much at at least 50 broken down boxes from our move) the girl said “I see 4 work orders” and our reply was “how many work orders does it take until someone picks it up? ”

Why do we have to call every week to get them to do their job? We were told to put our trash out back in the directions when we moved in. We are doing what we have been told. We are so beyond frustrated! I would love to have another option for trash. We would switch in a second!

Oh, and I called today because we were skipped again and the girl said “I will put in a work order so it will be done for the rest of the year and they will be back today. Guess what…. They never came back to pick up any of our trash along the back alley homes today as w were all told on the phone.

Rachel Quinn represented Penn Waste in an amazingly professional manner and she demonstrated "Penn Waste" wanted our business.

Was given this company because Previous service closed, never received a bill during the transition then out of nowhere got 2 bills within a month. Plus they are very sloppy, trash can is always in the street, will be changing very soon.

We made the switch to Penn Waste for our home and business and they are easy to deal with, great people, and very reasonable. Very happy with our experience! Thank you Rachel Quinn!

They keep leaving our garbage cans all over the lawn, thrown down and covers misplaced. And that’s if they even decided to take your trash. Just pathetic! Don’t even say good morning

Service and communication has been great! My salesperson Rachel was really helpful getting me set up and the drivers have been here as planned.
