Went there and watched my friend play and it was a really big area, just wish there was a bit more seating, I went there and people just take up the benches, I asked if I could sit down next to them and they said no.

3/10/23 Female referee swearing at players and around children who are on the sideline. Changing rules during the game. No control or knowledge of soccer. Big guy who helps run league has no control. Ref causes a brawl between two teammates and continues dropping F bombs and swearing herself. Game gets cancelled during the second half. I will not have my sponsors pay money for teams here anymore. We pay thousands of dollars a year for teams to play and have uniforms. Super unprofessional. Will be playing elsewhere. Roof leaking and unsafe field conditions as well.

Terribly worn down facility that does not perform upkeep on any gym equipment or maintenance on the facility.the roof recently fell through, ceiling tiles are covered in mold.free weight equipment is broken, and when presenting all of these issues they reply with a response we don't have money to fix it sorry, but you're still in a contract so you cannot leave and will continue to pay every month or be sent to collections. It is also very expensive compared to other gyms in the area. The gym members do not have "gym etiquette" i.e. No one puts anything back where they got it and expect the next person to do it for them.

Now that you’re stuck in our contract, let’s go over what you’ll be experiencing!

Like to workout? Our gym is our greatest redeeming quality! With old to semi old machines, you’ll leave thinking, “wow, that was ok. ”

Do you like to swim? Well that sucks! Because our pool is closed 60% of the time we’re actually open! And believe us, our hours don’t make any sense to us either!

Our hot tubs are top of the line models in the best year for hot tub manufacturing, 1974. They were truly amazing when they worked. Due to a lack luster desire for efficiency and an overwhelming desire for money, we refuse to pay anyone to fix our hot tubs so they have sat dormant for 5 years!

Oh but wait. If you’re here on mondays, tuesdays, and thursdays between the hours of 7-4, our Steam Room is open for business! Don’t bother coming on Sundays tho because it is closed for some reason. And don’t worry, the tiling that used to be white is now yellow where you sit so you have no need to ask us if it’s clean.

If you need to use a scale, look no further. We have those scales that doctors used in the 1980’s! And it still works!

Here at the Pennbriar, our focus is dirty surfaces, broken facilities, and making money.

What wave pool?

This place has lots of equipment, I will give them that.but the building is literally falling apart. There was a dead toad in the women’s locker room. There’s no restrooms in the locker room either.well, there is but they are blocked off and can’t be used. Some of the staff is super friendly and helpful, others not so much. They have a large mixture of equipment, some newish, some probably as old as the building, but no rhyme or reason as to the placement of things. It’s definitely not the cleanliest of gyms either. A membership for someone 26-30 is $38/month and you have to be signed up for a year. They do have a pool and saunas in the locker rooms. If you don’t care about cost or hygiene and strictly just your workout, then it’ll get the job done.

The soccer fields are great, often feel like a second home. The turf is well maintained and there is lots of room for fans. Clean facilities & comfortable temps for spectators and athletes.

Soccer complex for the kids. Very crowded at times with game starting and finishing around the same times.

Needs updated and doors locked between soccer turfs and gym. Annoying bc if u have kids playing soccer and working out u have to go outside

Was told the basketball courts and sauna would be open within the next weeks/month.about 9 months ago. They will not issue me a refund, they won't issue any kind of courtesy credit or anything. Completely SCAMMED me out of my money. Do not go here. Spend your $25 month else where with fully operational stuff.

Everyone was welcoming. It was our 1st time there as Silver Sneaker members. Nice track, lots of exercise machines and a large pool. Did a mile around the track. Looking forward to going back.

Has seen better days. Everyone here is great but the facility is falling apart. The roof is always leaking into collection buckets, there isn’t adequate ventilation in the weight lifting area because the ceiling is all tarped over and it gets ungodly humid in the summer. The “club” parts, like the showers and hot tub are dated and will never look clean, if they’re operational at all. Would be great if they’d put some money into renovation

I wish I could take back the contract that was signed after being denied entry many times because of an age discrepancy on their part.don’t waste your money
