Pennsylvania Department of Transportation - Photo License Center

This is not just a Penn dot license center, it's an AAA center, so they charge extra fees (27$) for liscense renewal. The space is laid out poorly with signs that point to nothing and seating areas that mix the two businesses, so you basically need to be directed where to go. It's impossible to gauge how long it might be since you can't tell wo I'd here for what purpose. There is also no didicated paarking, so you'll probably have to park in the lot for the gym and hope they don't tow you or park a few blocks. Basically, don't waste your time coming here.

This location is misleading. What Google doesn’t tell you is that this is actually a AAA location and that in order to be able to process your drivers license they add a $27 service fee on top of the renewal fee. They also don’t offer real ID services issuance, only renewal. Going to this location was a waste of my time and misleading.

There was no clear direction on what to do before going to the area where PennDot photos were to be taken. I was later advised that I needed to go to the front desk to get a ticket. It was confusing because above the front desk was a sign that said “Welcome to AAA”. Just a friendly suggestion to please relocate the ticket dispenser closer to the Photo Center area. Thank you.

That's the only place open on Monday. I stopped by in the afternoon to take photo for license. It took less than five minutes. The lady warned me they DO NOT print my license on site but will receive in 7-15 business days. I'm okay with that.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I walked in to get my new camera card for my drivers license and left 10 minutes later with my new card! Everyone was so friendly.

Penndot should state this inside a AAA location, and you'll have to pay an extra fee for a I.d if you are not member of AAA.

Open for over an hour more and not taking people? And the girl that told me I could come right back is the one who turned me down when I came back. Whatta joke.

Omg- fabulous! Literally less than 10 mins (i went at 9 am) the front desk woman was super helpful and so nice! The guys that take the photo also very nice and quick. Would def recommend 10/10

This place was amazing. I was In-N-Out five minutes tops. If it was that friendly courteous I can’t say one thing wrong please I really didn’t wanna leave a comment, I want my little diamond in the rough to be come to much public knowledge great place great people.

I just needed a photo ID! Do not come to this place if you need actual services! I didn't have a camera card so I needed them to print my camera card first. I checked in at the counter. I was then invited to wait in the red chair area for someone to print a camera card for me. I waited while other customers who came in after me received services. Did they go TO HARRISBURG to get the camera card? If you have a camera card you can come right in and go to the photo area to take your picture. If you don't have it you have to sit in a penalty box.
