Pennsylvania Department of Transportation - Photo License Center, Lehigh Valley reviews
22 I don't really write reviews but I just have to say this here.
I have been to a lot of DL centers and this center is by far the nicest and warmest I have ever been to. From the doorman to the lady at the counter to the DL officials. You feel welcomed immediately.
I had a lot of hard times at other centers and I went to this center expecting the same treatment or worse. And oh my! I felt like lingering after such a welcoming experience!
They deserve a 5 star and more!
Although people here were great without long lines, it was a waste of time as the web site didn't tell me that they were using my prior picture. If they don't it will be another trip.
My husband went in today to change his license from NY to PA and it was a good experience. Friendly helpful staff. Good social distancing and disinfecting procedures. Special lines for people over 60. Took a lot less time than we expected.
My son was extremely nervous to take his drivers test, and he had the most wonderful instructor. Instead of intimidation he joke with him and told him to be calm that he could do this. It made all the difference! David was his instructor's name & he deserves a raise! So thankful for him!
I visited this DMV center today to receive my renewed driver's license and it took only 20 minutes for me to get it done. I was really impressed with the service considering situation with COVID. Everything is perfectly organized and clean, employees are very friendly! Thank you - it couldn't be better!
My gf was here 3 days in a row trying to get a permit renewed. Left empty handed each time because they didn't give her the right paperwork
No issues here. My second experience here. Staff is always polite and professional. Went for a permit and it took a total of 29 mins from walk in to walk out. I don't know how it could get better than that.
I don’t hit the dmv often but when I do, I go here. Everyone is always pleasant and friendly AND super efficient. I am always in and out quick plus the place is always clean.
Came in on a sat i was ther at 9 in the morning and left at 5 in the afternoon this place is beyond crazy you need to bring a tent amd a cooler with ham cheese amd bread because its gonna be an all day event here at the finest dmv location on airport rd wish the had those buzzers like they do in restaurants 8 hours just to get my learners permit booklet i will never go to this location again
Staff is nasty and snap if you ask one question. Same for Easton, I’d rather drive an hour to Snydersville before going to either of these DMV’s.
Racist to say the least and I was band as soon as I take legal action and report this to the better business bureau I will update my review!
Presidents’ Day is Monday, but you’re closed today!? Maybe update your hours online since this is a public service. So incredibly inconvenient and you don’t care at all.
Slowest service I've ever experienced and I'm originally from NYC. Over 2 hours just to replace my drivers license. No real order just pretty much take a number, take a seat and watch the day turn into night until your number pops up on the screen.
Website said the were open, but when i got there, they were closed. Wasted time and gas for nothing!
I don’t know anyone who goes to the DMV & has a great time. It’s one of those responsibilities that everyone dreads taking care of. I needed to get my license renewed so I submitted the form and received a camera card in the mail which made it so much easier. I just moved to this area and can honestly say the staff at this DMV are so much more helpful and friendly than what I’m used to at the DMV in the Shillington/Reading area!
It's the DMV. We all know to expect some annoyances when we go there. I went on a Weds at 2pm for photo drivers license renewal. I was in and out in 20 mins.
My tips: 1. Don't go on a Saturday!
2. Have the proper forms and documents ready. And READ them beforehand
3. Listen for your # to be called
I saw many customers holding up the process with cluelessness and derpiness. Yes, the workers take their time and never seem to hurry.
Hello! You probably go there once every 4 years, get a grip!
Went in for the photo center. You now have to wait in the main line, instead of being able to proceed directly to the photo center. They finally call my number, and what do you know, they sent me to the wrong counter. Now I am forced to wait all over again. This place is a complete mess. Big decline from 4 years ago. Avoid if possible.
Been to a few DMVs, this was the worst. Long lines. They completely skipped over me and another gentlemen for an hour. Then when I brought it up and got up to the counter, the lady didn’t even look at one of my pieces of ID and refused to accept it, saying she couldn’t find the address when she didn’t even attempt to try. I offered a few alternatives to which she said she would take them after I got back in line. I didn’t have time for ANOTHER possible 2 hour wait. Ridiculous.
The majority of the people frequenting this center are of different speaking ethnicity, but yet they only have non-bilingual people working at this facility, which I think would help expedite the flow of things in this center if they hired outside their normal type of staff
Rude telling us to turn down phones. When you sit there for six hours and get told yo not use your phone serious. If you don't have to go don't absolutely nightmare place to visit
