Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Photo Driver's License Center reviews
29Even during covid, everything was nicely organized. Just didn't like the attitude I got from the person who was taking my photo. I'm sorry I can't hear you behind the mask.
I picked a good time to go @ 10am or after today, the wait wasnt too long and the employees were very nice.
It was lovely the staff was nice and professional. The service was excellent didn't have to wait long in line.
Very efficient for a DMV. I was in and out less than 30mins. Be prepared to wait outside in the line at cold weather, as they keep very small number of people inside the building
For all those low star reviewers should go Philadelphia DMV first, then y'all will appreciate this location 10 times more.
I lived in city many years, so being able to get anything done at dmv, and doing this under 30mins was such a relief!
I had a great experience here. The black ladies at aisle 7 and 2 were very friendly and polite. The lady at aisle 2 let me retake my picture and made me feel welcome. She told me she didnt want me to go until I was happy The lady at Aisle 7 worked with me to change what I wanted.the man who greeted me on the line while I was waiting outside was nice. He answered my question without making me feel dumb. And they move really fast to be a dmv on a SATURDAY. I was there for about a hour and a half. Everyone sat socially distanced. This dmv cares about customer service.thank you!
This place is absolutely awesome. In and out under 5 mins. Kevin Mitchell and Tony Zimmerman were fast, helpful, and courteous. Excellent DMV experience.
I had a great, easy experience. First time getting an ID all you will need is your SS card, birth certificate, 2 proofs of residency (any mail or packages you have with your name & address on it) & you’re set. You’ll fill out 1 short sheet of paper, they check your documents to make sure you have all the correct ones around 7: 45 and they open at 8: 30. Go in, get your number, I waited about 3-5 minutes to get called. Tell the person at the desk what you’re there for, give them your documents & pay however you’re paying. Then after that, I didn’t even have to wait to get called again, I was right onto the next step of answering a few simple questions & got my picture taken. After you take your picture, you’ll receive your ID on the spot. I include that because online it says it will take 15 business days to get it but it doesn’t. Also, it says that it costs $30.50 for ID online but it actually costs $31.50 so I couldn’t use my money order that I had. Luckily they accept cash, credit/debit now tho, so I was fine. THE KEY FOR THIS QUICK EXPERIENCE IS TO GO EARLY! THE LINES PILE UP VERY QUICKLY! WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE DMV AFTERWARDS, THE LINE WAS LONG AF! But I do recommend this place to anyone.good luck!
Stopped by to ask a few questions about the real ID and they were closed. It was New Years Eve day but on line it said they were opened till 4: 15 it was only 3: 05. Between the post office and this I'm so decusted with both government centers.
If i could give them 0 stars i would. Terrible staff.horrible attitudes and don’t want to work. They are bothered by you being there. Typical government run place. What a joke
Workers were very disrespectful to many of the people around me, and the line moved at a snail's pace. I'm not that mad about the line, but much more mad at their attitude towards people, especially ones who obviously spoke English as a second language.
Exercellent service. Was in and out in no time. They sanitize the chairs and the counter and pens after each customer.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They did a great job at accommodating a huge amount of people. With the different personalities and tempers that this staff has to deal with daily, I strongly suggest that every single one of these employees receive raises immediately. They made my visit as pleasant as it could be and for that I'm thankful
Opens 830am. Line froms at 730.40 people in line by 830. Efficient pre screening for documents.
Racism its real and I was treated so poorly here. Two ladies were yelling asking multiple people including me if we were US citizens and if we weren’t we couldn’t be seeing that green card holders were not being seeing. It was extremely rude the way we were treated and there was no need to talk to us so poorly. Other people were not asked this question or were yelled at, only people who looked of spanish background. Here I thought we were over racism.
If i could rate 0 I would this place has the most incompetent, rude, and lazy employees I have ever seen. I highly recommend not wasting your time and energy at this “facility” as they move at the speed of snails and have no skills whatsoever. These people don’t even deserve minimum wage, the whole setup is absolutely pathetic.
Bad Attitude!
The Lady who helped my service was very unprofessional on her job. I politely asked that lady some questions if my dad could or could not take the permit test in other languages, she was very impatient and gave us very hard time.
In my opinion, there should not have any STAR for this place.
Everyone I spoke to in this process was cordial and professional. The place was full and busy but the competent staff dealt with “computer issues” calmly. It looked like everyone was doing their job just fine to me. I got the personal attention I needed to complete my task. Thanks for your help.
I was failed for no reason. The lady spoke rude to me, and said I lost control of the car (which I didn’t). Then she said I rolled by a stop sign, but I was already stopped before I proceeded to drive. She also said I was speeding too, and I did not.
This place is always busy. Some employees do have a resting Bface. But 90% of the staff here are nice and professional. I came here and waited in line before they were open, got in and out quickly. No complaints.
So I go in today at 9: 25 to renew my permit and I sat there literally for an hour and a half just to find out there no where in the book unless someone can show me that after 3 years your physical expires and your have to redo the entire written test all over again. There are not that many people at the desk to help take people and assist them.
