The wait is lOnG! One of the female officers at the window was professional. She allowed me to go back home, get one of the substitute files, and come back directly to work with her without getting back in line. Another officer ended up continuing my case because the previous lady's computer was down. He was okay - He typed my info wrong but I found that out before I signed the form. There was a female officer working in the front door to coordinate the line and get people numbers - she worked very hard and was very friendly. Another person who also handled the line and checked my files gave me the wrong form, so when it was my turn, the officer at the window got confused and I had to fill another different form, which was a waste of my time. I ended up being rejected from the service that I requested due to some reasons that the office wasn't even sure about either, and I needed to make a lot of calls back and forth by myself.

The staff are pleasant. They are very helpful. Even though there was a long line to enter the building, the staff made sure each person was helped and the line moved in a timely manner.

Fast friendly service. Staff was knowledgeable. Everyone knew their position. Great conversation about oxtail and exotic bulky dogs also.

First off the black security lady at the front entrance is just.ugh. But the most disrespectful employee is the black male test examiner. He's so pompous and was very rude towards me. Yeah I passed but almost didn't because I wanted to cuss him out.honestly if you can't stay professional by working with the public, then work your behind from home!

I did the knowledge test last week, and got extremely lucky snagging a slot for the road test today (I passed!). Each time I've been here, every member of staff, including security, have been polite, courteous, and efficient - and all with a sense of humor. They've truly made what is usually a chore, as painless as possible. Not to mention the office area, AND the bathroom, are tidy and clean. Kudos and thank you!

Excellent service, my ticket number was called before I took a seat. I was in and out in ten minutes or less. A clean state of art facility.

By far the best penndot location ever. I've been in PA for about 16 years. Been to 6 penndot locations and nothing comes close to the efficiency of this location.
The AC is trash. You'll be seated in the middle of a dozen fans on a hot summer day. But the good thing is you don't have to wait for long. The staff are quick and make sure you are in and out and not wandering around. Big thanks to the people at this center.

Island Ave Staff is very Helpful, Nice and Funny, if YOU do NOT go in there with an Attitude like they personally did something to you then you wont get one from the PennDOT Staff.

I have never been to a friendly, efficient, and quick Penndot until this one. Definitely not the typical Penndot. The agents here were very friendly as well as the sign in desk attendant. She was helpful. I wasn’t there long at all. Not sure if it’s because I was there for a license renewal but it seems like everyone was moving fast and not taking their time. 30 minutes tops!

I renewed my license in less than 30 minutes. I arrived just after 4pm on a Saturday. FYI: their hours of operation are 8: 30 am to 4: 15 pm, Monday - Saturday, so it pays to arrive later in the day if you are able. That's when the lines move the fastest. I asked a few questions that day and everyone that I spoke with was really helpful

I give four stars because the lines are minimal. The staff are polite as they can be. Wait time was short.

The most well-organized dmv I've been to. I had to visit it 3-4 times over past two years and every single time I was out very soon. Very short waiting times, no unexpected complications. I wish all dmv locations were this good.

Been here so many times cause I always lose my ID, always super fast friendly service. So fast in fact that I often get my number called before I can even finish the form! Highly recommend it over other locations in the area. Gas station very close by to obtain a money order

I Love This PLACE.when your rude they rude duh. Driving test was SUPER EASY WHY Because i got WIP GAME.for ll those people saying they can't do it because YOU NEED TO PRACTICE. Im going there all the time because well i love the staff there. ONLY THING BAD is there RESTROOMS but when you got rachit/ jackass off peoplecoming in well ya. 5 starts all the way. Ps.i took my test when i was HIGH AS FUCK.
