Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center reviews
14 There is so much history with this complex. Most of it is very old, but it is well cared-for and solid. There are bathrooms everywhere. No matter what event you go for, if you are in the old section, it will smell like a barn. The new section smells fresher.
The annual Farm Show is a must-see at least once, though it doesn't have the same farming glory of the 1900s shows. The 3-season Farmers Market on Tuesday and Thursday provides fresh local produce and some imported from north and south, as well as fresh flowers, wine, cheese, and organic meat. Pretty good french fries, too.
Went to Farmers Market. Local farmers. Delicious free stone peaches, tomatoes, large cucumbers, sweet watermelon. Everything fresh. Whoopie Pies and other baked goods. Amish Farmers loved it back for second week in a row. Tuesday and Friday 9 to 6
Ungodly crowds and the worst traffic and parking system I have ever seen! Took an hour and a half to find parking, at which point we were over it anyway. My advice: go on a weekday if possible.
The outdoor market is so interesting. Great buys on all types of vegetables, baked goods, and Flowers. Got to go there.
Was a few minutes passed closing time when we arrived, but the vendor graciously let me peruse the table & buy! I was not aware of the time change.
I saw a drive-in movie in the parking lot. It sounded good. The movie looked good on the screen, although the screen was kind of small for a drive-in.
Many different kinds of shows here. This is from the December gun show. Holloway historical Goode's was set up there. This is just a tiny part of their steam punk selection. They also have reenactors supplies, hand made knives, books, etc
Amazing Gun show this time! Went on Sunday morning was a little worried maybe things would be picked through. Very disappointed the PA gun background check system was down. Could not buy what i wanted but not the fault of the Gun show. Great people!
We were here for the PA Christmas Show again this year. This is a special day for my sister and me to spend quality time together & shop for Christmas gifts. This year my daughter joined us.
They charge $10 to park. Then they charge a fee to get in to the event. A drink is $4 no matter what you get. (Water, bottle of Coke, tea, lemonade, etc.) Food is limited to selection and the prices are high. All vender food. The 780 vendors had the prices at a premium. No deals here. Some of the craft vendors were buy and sell. The guy selling the broom handle, clean the floor, stuff. The guy selling the ratchet loping shears. Come on. You want to get that stuff go to Lowe's and save the parking and admission fees. This was a craft show not hardware store. Would not go again!
It is a family tradition for like the 10 years to go every year. I love going to look at all the different chritmas things and stuff they have and the train display that they put up every year.
We went to the Christmas gift show. It was huge and very nice. I wish they would color code the floor to help us navigate the huge area.
This regarding the Christmas craft show held here. They charge 10.00 to park and offer no shuttle to the front door. The parking area is HUGE so plan on freezing and walking forever. Love the craft show but need to offer shuttles!
Gun show was ok. Lots of great stuff. Unfortunately the P. I. C. S.system was down and nobody could buy any. The state should reimburse the dealers for the table fees they had to pay to be there, and then not be able to make any money.
