Pennsylvania Military Museum reviews
17It shows not only Pennsylvania military history, but military history from WW1 to The Cold War. They're very kind and they have wonderful exhibits. Shrines for every war from WW1- Desert Storm for locals.
This is an excellent museum designed to honor the sacrifices of Pennsylvanian members of the military that sacrificed so much for the state and the nation. Highly recommended.
This place is absolutely beautiful. The out door attractions are amazing and the inside was pretty educational and setup fantastically. We have gone twice in the last 2 years.
My grandson is 10yrs old. He loved it. He is so into WWII he knew all the machinery and uniforms on display. He asked some very interesting questions that the volunteers answered for him. It was a great trip.
It was nice and cool on the hot Pennsylvania day. The movie was very informative. You can look but do not touch. Plenty of gifts to choose from in the gift shop.
Great local museum, I highly recommend it. The exhibits are enjoyable and it's reasonably priced. Great green space outside and very well designed memorials.
It was a nice experience and I was there on a day it is closed. Open Thurs through Sunday. Still a very nice area to walk and learn about PA's contribution to our armed forces here in the USA.
This was an interesting museum. There were many vehicles and weapons on display both inside and outside that were pretty cool. The 28th division shrine was also very interesting.
Nice museum that does a thorough job describing military history, particularly WWI onward. A great number of artifacts as well.
Our go-to daily walk and doggie social. Lovely varied path including streams, bridges, monuments and trails. Open to the sky and pretty measured in the number of visitors. Tuesday 2-6 pm is the farmers market with local produce, Amish vendors, artisanal meats, cheeses and breads. A delightful place to call home or simply visit. All are welcome!
Visiting PA Military Museum with Troop 48 we talked to the director of the place and had an awesome experience looking inside and out. Love the scenery of how the trees were placed in the perfect spots to park the tanks. Learned lots of things and you should check it out.
The grounds are really the draw here. The museum is a lovely, quirky, much loved institution that is worth a trip, but go on a day with good weather and l Ave time to roam the grounds
If you have an opportunity to meet Tyler, then you will have met someone special! The contributions of Pennsylvania service members should be on the tongue and hearts of every civilian living in Pennsylvania. Great facility!
Stopped by for my 1st visit. Well done exhibits featuring Pennsylvania's participation in American military events since the mid-1600s up to the present. Be sure to see the intro video. Good outside exhibits and memorials, too
Lots of cool facts to learn in this museum! They're are amazing examples of both armored and unarmored vehicles and weapons from all of the major wars.
There are plenty of memorials along the walking trails outside and beautiful nature along these trails, in general it is just a beautiful environment. My only complaint would be that some of the information boards outside are unreadable because of how worn they are, but other than that the place is nice and well kept. The staff are also very nice and helpful.
We only had time to walk around outside, but there is still plenty to look at. Our son loved looking at the tanks and artillery on display, and it is a nice spot for a walk while looking at all the memorials.
