Penrose Plaza Shopping Center, Philadelphia PA

This plaza is one of the best in the area. Great stores. From the Dollar Tree all the way to Wells Fargo bank. The variety of food options are great. Cold sandwiches, wings, fries, burgers, seafood, you name it you can find it in this plaza.

There’s a young lady that I’ve seen working here since she was a teenager her name is Deloris Berton and I will tell you her work ethics is just a great experience to encounter I pray to Allah that she is fairly treated when raise time comes around we Muslim of which I happen to be a Minister have noticed that this young lady is amazing I am honored to have the blessings of her assistance in the store she’s very pleasant to deal with Allah willing you will keep her there

This is my local shopping center. In past year we've seen more stores setup shop here. There's the DDs discount clothing store which is a sister store to Marshalls, Chase Bank has a branch here along with a really convenient drive up ATM machine (only dispenses 20s, but the machines in lobby dispense in multiples of 5s which is really nice. Dollar tree, sneaker store, Wingstop, subway, popeyes, ShopRite, citizens bank, city trends, burger king, Wendy's and a few others I can't remember at the moment are there.there's also two dropoff stations and a pickup platform for the 36 trolley as well as two 37 bus stops going to broad and Snyder along lindbergh blvd and one 37 bus stop going towards Harrah's and chester transportation center on grass median in middle of lindbergh Blvd as well as a 108 stop at 78th street corners where one goes towards 69th street Transportation center and the other towards airport. Last but not least there are 68 bus stops across island one just past dollar general and auto store going towards broad and Pattinson ave as well as one across from rite aid on Lindbergh and island corner headed for 69th street Transportation center.also on that side across from penrose plaza there is rite aid, DaVita diagnostics, Dunkin donuts, McDonald's, dollar general and auto parts store (I forget the name of it). It's a pretty big selection of various types of stores. Convenient for the Eastwick section of southwest Philadelphia. A good many people walk to this shopping center.oh I forgot to mention the road Mario lanza Blvd behind dollar tree leads to the R1 train which is the airport line. Stops at all the terminal going to and headed back to center City and runs all the way to Temple university station after stopping at Eastwick, university city, 30th street, suburban station, Jefferson station and finally temple then usually turns into the warminster line, but occasionally will turn into another line after Temple stop. Parking is free at that station. Many people also park Dow by dollar tree to get on 36 trolley to go downtown via southwest Philly into center City. Hope this helps give a decent description of the amenities at and around this shopping center

There is a tenant in the shopping center named Hair Buzz. I've spoken to management of the establishment and David Judd, he leases to them, regarding the windows being boarded. They have been this way for at least 6 months. It makes our neighborhood look bad. If it was someplace else the windows would have been replaced. All other active tenants since the civil unrest have replaced the windows. I do not understand why HAIR BUZZ is allowed to conduct business.

I got what I needed and more, for once no drama although I saw a lady kept hitting her son which makes it look suspicious.

Dollar store only allows 2 boxes of tissues that I didn't like I only get to shop once a month I'll need someone to take me again SMH I don't have money like that

Nice place to get grocery, but they need to revamp employees. There was a stock person loading water while on his cell phone.and every word out his mouth was profanity! Didn't care that there were young kids walking around him and hearing every word he said. Even when we walked away, he was loud enough that he still could be heard. Must be a night crew thing.

The supermarket, Shoprite was not effected by looters, all went well, still had a variety of products. However, the rest of the Plaza was vandalized, boarded up, which was upsetting. It looked totally different. I could not get my medicine from Rite Aide, or banking, which was more upsetting. More security is needed, not just at Shoprite, however glad to still shop there.

Customer for 12 years a good place to get fresh food.some agents need more customers service practice training procedure

Small shopping center, Jamacian restuarant had great food. The wine and spirits is clean and good prices. The clothing store is ok when you don't want to travel far.

I was very disappointed to see the deterioration of this Plaza. There is virtually no maintenance of the beautiful trash cans. Every trash can was overfull and trash was flowing on the side walks. It was not a holiday or weekend. I frequently stop in this area to go to Dollar Tree of Shop Rite. I would hope the owners of the Plaza correct the maintenance problems.

I love this mall it's particularly quite in the mornings. And very clean. The shops are wonderful and spacey what I am disappointed about is there is no Ihope. That would be the perfection that is needed.

What would make this a Five Star Plaza would be a real restaurant like Applebee's Outback Texas Longhorn Etc

Variety of stores there; ample parking. Supermarket, as well as fast-food places; Hibachi buffet located on site; and a 24-hour fitness center, to work it all off!

Hibachi buffet if you don't want to cook there and also shoprite if you want to go food shopping also if you need a few things for the house dollar tree in there and also a few shopping stores along with banking with wells Fargo. I give this shopping center 4 stars cause it's good for the responsible ones that have a family or their own place or home

Struggling shopping center but much better than 5 years ago.shop rite has really improved their store and many new stores have made this comeback real!

I love how they have security securing the premises. They are constantly patrol. Great job on the property owner

Very clean and lots of stores I would like to visit. Only went to the shoprite but can't wait to go back.
