Dr DiCicco and Dr Peri are very knowledgeable and very caring. Both doctors have helped my family and I and have been so caring throughout each visit. Wonderful to have such great doctors.

Always have to wait 45+ mins after appt time. Front desk is rude and short. Been trying to give them a chance with everything going on but I am finding a new pcp.

I have always loved Dr. D. However the office anymore sucks to say it bluntly! In the last month I have called four times and every time I have ended up going to urgent care. That’s just crazy to me. Why have a primary if I end up just using a local urgent care off. Getting scripts refilled is a even bigger joke even after going to urgent care. The nurses just down right suck. Time to find a primary office closer to home. This office is no longer worth the drive. Peace out. Gateway medical. So sad to leave Dr D. But oh well. The office no longer wants or cares to hear the patients needs.

I have known and have seen Dr. Eric DiCicco DO, for 25 years and he is a damn good Doctor. One of the best in this or any practice.

Downingtown office. PHEW
Going there for years, hard to get them to respond to pharmacies requests for refills of routine meds, today seen by Laurie N. P.for first time, and last time. Could not discuss med issues with her, i was continually cut off.very rude treatment, WOULD NOT listen to my concerns, at one point suggested I seek a different medical practice,
so upset She left the room for 5-10 min. Stating " I'm so upset I'm shaking". Seem overstretched at that office. Hope they can reduce tension in that office!

Dr. Harmony Bonnes used to practice in the Yardley/Newtown area. Many many patients are heartbroken that she left this area. I kept googling to find out where she went, and found out you folks in Downingtown are the lucky winners. I wish I lived closer to Downingtown so she could be my doc. You're going to love her!

Very rude staff, and won’t get appointments easily, they will direct to you urgent care or ER. Particularly Dowingtown is not at all recommended.

I’ve been coming here for maybe 6 months now, today is my third visit, and I walked in right on time and all the receptionist were talking badly about people showing up late, and the nurse who took me back had a bad attitude and didn’t seem to care at all about me, let alone not knowing why I was there for the visit. I told her I was having a new symptom so apparently she had to do “more work” which she clearly showed annoyed her. My last visit here was better but I wont be coming back, will find another Gateway facility.

My 21 year old daughter and I have been going to Gateway In Downingtown for 5 years now Since moving to Pennsylvania. At first I loved them. I have to say since Covid started, the quality of the exams for sick visits has dropped and they are unapologetic about it. “Everything, every cough or fever is Covid, until the test is negative “ Vaccinated - it doesn’t matter. 5 minute exam, Covid test, wait 2 days sick at home. The test is negative, they don’t call and ask if you’re ok, they just say your test is negative, you have a virus. Never check forflu or strep, don’t ask you to come in for a follow up,
7 days later go to urgent care, my daughter has pneumonia on X-ray
Gateway is uncaring, useless and too corporate.
All sick visited are late in the afternoon, ridiculous, who wants to sit around all day Waiting for a 5 minute “ exam”, aka Covid test “ I call it a rip off.

You are better off going to AFC urgent care or Patient First in Exton.
They spent 30 minutes with my daughter, very nice.

I've been a patient at gateway for the last 30 years. Have always been treated well until today. I was sick Friday night throwing up from food poisoning and called out from work. Of course wasn't able to be seen by the doctor Friday night and although they claim that the office was open Saturday it was not. Not only does it say on its website that the office is closed on Saturday but I called anyway got an answering machine and it said to call the doctor on call which I did. I explained to him that I need a doctor's note to return to work because of making sure that I did not have covid. He told me fine he would let my primary know Monday morning that I needed a note by way of leaving a message on her machine so I called today Monday morning to touch base to see if I could make an appointment to get a note.waited for 4 hours they never called me back so I finally called them back. Was told they would not give me a note because they did not see me at the time that I was Ill but that wasn't possible and I tried to explain that to them. But they didn't care. I've never been treated so horribly in all of my life and I adored my doctor Dr Norris but the fact that she wouldn't even give me a chance to rectify the situation makes me really disappointed in her I will never go back there again

Dr Brosius was the most disrespectful doctor I have ever met. She took pride in talking down to me and she had a better-than-thou attitude. I felt rushed and I had the feeling she was not concerned about my issues. She was mean and hateful. I will never go there again. Shame on you Dr Brodie’s!

I called with some pretty serious symptoms. They said they'd have the nurse call me back. 2.5 hours later, I called back. The scheduler got the nurse and the nurse was extremely rude to me. She barely let me talk. I assume this was because of poor staffing. I've been with them for almost three years but will be seeking a new doctor after today.

I made an appointment as a new patient for a preventive annual check up and they submitted the claim as a regular doctor visit, not preventive. Called to try and get it corrected but the billing contact was not helpful at all and advised they would not change it. Clearly I was trying to have an annual physical and they totally misunderstood, meaning that my insurance is not covering it 100% as a preventive claim because Gateway advised they “don’t do physicals for new patients. ” Really wish they would have told me that PRIOR to me going to the appointment, because now I’m on the hook for paying the claim. Will not be going back and need to find a new doctor in the Downingtown area.

Was dropped from my GP with no notice or mention, and when I tried to make an appointment was told I needed to come on as a new client and that my GP was no longer taking new clients.

Do not recommend this place to anyone, and I'm very disappointed in the utter lack of communication.

Everyone in the office has always been so polite and professional for each visit. I especially want to give a special thanks to Dr. Bamazi who always goes above and beyond for her patients. Thanks again, and I look forward to my next visit.

Stephanie is amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. I always get nervous to go to DR offices because I don’t like feeling judged (bad experiences at other places) but Stephanie was so great to me! 100% prefer her and would recommend to anyone. Thank you for your services!

We (family of four) were patients of Dr. Barr for over 30 years. Back when the practice was small and in a converted house on Manor Ave it was wonderful, easily a 4.5 star rating. Dr. Barr (now retired) joined a huge conglomerate (keeping the same name, Gateway Family Practice), and just getting an appointment is an ordeal. They use a call center [nope - you cannot speak to the office to make an appointment - just a non-medically (un) trained telephone operator], and it took me 1/2 hour and four people before I was even able to speak to a nurse. Once you actually get INTO the office everyone is very friendly and helpful, and I am sure if we weren't used to the personal touch from three decades at the "old" office it would be more palatable.

I absolutely love my doctor Stacy Yantis. She does not rush you when you are able to have a face to face visit with her. The Staff is Awesome I love this medical practice I'm so glad I made the switch back in October 2018.

I am totally appalled by the customer service that this office currently practices. You are unable to get ahold of anyone at this office, not to mention when you finally do speak with a receptionist you wish you never called. Countless times I have called and request to have someone call me back with either test results or a call back from the doctor and days go bye and no phone call. I have been a patient for years and years and feel as when Dr. Brennan and his office join with gateway that is when they lost me as a patient. What a shame this office has become and what horrific customer service they practice.
