Pepper Palace reviews
19I am a lover of hot and spicy! This store is an absolute dream if you like it too! Lots of rubs, spices, hot sauces to suit every taste, from hot to "OMG"!
Visited this store on recommendation from a friend when i was visiting United States and was amazed to see such a vast varieties of pepper sauces, i tested around 20-25 of them and was getting confused on which one to actually take, so ended up with 17 types of sauces and they are really awesome, staff was also very courteous and helpful
Awesome store, try it and buy it. Very friendly staff and register people. Some like it hot..... Like your mama.
This place is always a must go to whenever we come to KOP. Their selection of hot sauces is unparalleled and the salsas and marinades/glazes are amazing too. Recently my husband and I have gotten into liking horseradish, and my husband saw the fridge with something called Nasal Napalm horseradish in it, so of course he had to try it. The horseradish root is aged 18-20 years, which means way more of a kick than the stuff you buy at the grocery store. My favorite thing about this store is all the punny names for their sauces, like Trumpty Dumpty (which has a pretty good flavor surprisingly). The place is a little pricey, and the store is tiny and cramped, but most of the stuff is worth it.
If you want to cry from every orifice of your body, stop by for something insanely hot. Once the heat wears off, you feel refreshed
It's a store that just sells bottled pain. The employees are super helpful in suggesting various ways for you to hurt yourself. 10/10 would burn my mouth 20 different ways again.
Pepper Palace is great! I think some of the stuff is a bit pricy though, but the staff is/was very polite and willing to help.
This place is the stuff, I swear. This world needs more places like this and the owner is so chill.
Lots of sauces, I tried the sauce "the end". Holy hell. I could take the heat, but 20 minutes later my stomachs said no (I puked a lil). Pepper heads unite, this is your place
I liked the free samples, but the prices are very expensive for what the sauces actually contain.
We needed help choosing hot sauce for a gift. The staff person explained different types to us. We bought our gift and a bottle for ourselves. There is a huge area to try many types. Cool experience. We'll be back!
I love this place even though all the hot sauce was like candy. I want to try the end challenge because that cant be to hard if the hot sauce is like baby food.
This is an awesome store to stop at to sample and purchase many different flavors of hot sauces, sweet sauces, BBQ sauce, and salsa's. You can sample almost everything they carry and the staff was very friendly. They also sell drinks in the store. They offer package deals for buying multiple bottles of sauce at once. There is plenty of parking being this is at the mall.
I had low expectations going in, but was surprised on how good the sauce and spices were. The sample before buying model really convinced me.
Great hot sauce/spices store with some very great sauces. You have to pay more to get the good ones. If its expensive and comes in a small bottle then it's the one you want and its worth the extra cash.
Ooooooo boy the hot sauces here will leave you with teary eyes and runny nose. Sample spoon fulls of sauce and decide which ones you will purchase. Make sure to bring a glass of milk!
About a year ago, my family and I stopped at the King of Prussia mall on our way to New York. My mother being the crazy Filipino she is, was intrigued by the store as we walked through the mall. My mom loves anything spicy. She begged for all of us to go inside. We did, and let me tell you, that decision led to the craziest day of my life. My mom spent about a couple minutes looking at the sauces while my step-dad talked to the young man working. My mom picked up bottles of sauce while asking questions on how spicy each one was. She then asked, "what is the hottest sauce you have? " The man picks up a random bottle and says we can try it, but we have to sign a *waiver. * He proceeded to say that trying this sauce was a part of a challenge, and if we went through with it, he would give us ice cream coupons from Cold Stone. He also said that if we tried the sauce, we had to wait a minute until we could eat or drink anything in order to get the coupons. My step-father and my mother agreed quickly, and they began to peer-pressure my brother into trying it as well. After like 2 minutes of convincing, my brother finally agreed to try the sauce. The worker dude put like two drops of the sauce into the tiniest spoon I have ever seen and handed it to my family. They all tried it, and they seemed fine. We ended up walking out of the store after the minute we had to wait. A bit later, my mom and my brother began to complain about feeling sick. My step-dad was completely fine, but my mom was literally on the floor. She sat down on a small set of stairs and cried while my brother was in the bathroom for A WHOLE HOUR. My sister began to record my weeping mother, and my father just stood there and ate a bagel, asking my mom if she wanted some. She begged us to take her to the hospital because of the pain the endured. My step-dad refused, saying she would be fine, while my brother was still in the bathroom, probably blowing the toilets up. After my mom sat for 40 minutes on the ground, she got up. My dad went to go check on my brother. My brother came back 20 minutes later. All in all, don't try the hot sauce at this place, it will make your mother cry and your older brother stink up the bathrooms around the food court, or just the food court in general. P. S.my mom is still super pissed she didn't buy anything, and the coupon was only for 10% off ice cream.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are eager to help customers. There are lots of samples and excellent sauces, salsas, and dry seasonings.
Most people reviewing this place clearly have no clue as to what quality hot sauce is. If you are a real Chilehead who enjoys all-natural quality hot sauces from the likes of Burns and McCoy, Pex Peppers BigFat.etc. Stop here and sample all of the runny water and vinegar diluted garbage for 12-25 bucks a bottle to remind yourself how terrible commercial sauces are. This is the mecca of garbage sauces for high prices. It's worse than the tourist trap boardwalk shops because they only sell their own garbage. If you think this place is good you have a lot to learn about hot sauce.
