Pet Supplies Plus, Bridgeville PA

I can remember this store as being a well kept/organized, helpful and family friendly store. We went to find a new harness for my parents puppy, and though I realize the sight of a puppy makes people act out of the norm, but we felt like we were either in the twilight zone or it was a full moon. Not one, but multiple people were in the store to just wandering around, not purchasing anything and/or buying some kind of insect for what I would assume is their amphibian/reptile at home. I'm not always aware of those around me when I'm shopping, but it was very odd company to say the least. There was a whole isle wall devoted to harnesses, which were all either in a heap on the bottom shelf, or missing tags so you couldn't decifer size or how to attach harness to said dog. Not once were we asked if we needed any help, nor was there an employee in sight to ask for any. We left buying some cat toys and a harness that we think works, but will probably end up returning and going elsewhere. I'm not sure how they are staying in business up there.the insect dealing must be keeping it afloat. Totally weird establishment that I, nor my parents (local to the area) will be returning to. But then again, maybe there is a full moon tonight? !?
Either way, it's a no go for me.

Needed a specific dewormer for my new 8 week old puppy and called ahead to make sure they had it. Turns out they only had one left. The person I talked to was very nice and checked for a few products for me. Not only that.she put the dewormer aside so my husband could pick it up later! I am extremely happy with my experience! Wonderful customer service

We just adopted our new family member, an older pit mix, a couple weeks ago. And while he's not my girlfriend's first dog, he's my first pet ever. So I've been doing tons of feverish research and bookmarking things like toys and vitamins and foods and all that. I ordered a bunch on Amazon, of course, but then we realized that this place is right by the fresh thyme we always go to.

I was so excited when we walked in - there's so much stuff here I want to get for my little buddy. I double checked the food price against Amazon's, it's actually cheaper here at the store, which is shocking to me. And they have a bunch of different options for "healthy" treats (at least, ones without wheat/grain and with added nutrients for his skin and joints), plus tons of different toys and better leashes/collars than what I'd found online. There's also a lot that's on sale, including the treats and the hard chewable toy-treats that dogs usually like to bite at all day. There's even several coolers right at the front with that super fresh food stuff some people prefer (I don't know enough about it yet, I may test it out at some point) that needs to be refrigerated.

The only gripes I have are that there's frequently lots of people there with their pets (which DUH, but our dog is really nervous around other pets because of his background, so we're afraid to bring him in, which is a bummer) and that one of the employees is usually just a big body odor-y (but also duh, I'd be willing to bet there's a policy against wearing lots of deodorant/perfume/cologne because of the pets, so that maybe can't be helped).

Either way, great store, and we'll for sure be back plenty. There's a nice sale on dog beds right now, we're thinking of buying like three or four for just every major room of the house and my office lol. Then he'll have his own spot everywhere, just for him. We actually bought him a giant version of his favorite toy here about a week ago, he was super into that!

Best place for animals and have real products for your pet with there own brand that's cheaper then the leading brand with better results I have 2 pitbulls and both would get allergic reactions with top brands I chose for them there product with the same engredients with REAL products they both don't have any problems I'll tell you first hand those leading brands are fake

Not only did it take awhile to find someone to help me, but they were leaving and called for someone else (which is fine) however they took even longer to get to me and didn't even greet me. He smelled of marijuana around my two young boys. I was specifically at the store for an algae eater and had 3 different species in mind. I have a 75 gallon tank and I made it absolutley clear I did not want a common pleco as they simply grow too big. I was interested in a bristle nose which looks similar but grows much smaller. Someone left a bag with a hole in it, so the fish and water fell to the table while packaging what I was told a bristle nose pleco. I now have a common pleco that I'm keeping solely because I don't want he/she to end up in the wrong hands.

Ok I completely apologize I'm not sure how I gave this place a 1 star review. I havent had any issues with this store. I work for walmart so fee things I can get there I do, but outside that, pet supplies has been my go to for a long time.

I got Excel deworner for my dog, I cooked ground beef mixed it in. He ate it all. He appears worm free, and is feeling great!

Perfect place to wash your dog. No more water all over the bathroom floor

Does Pet Supplies Plus has quickly become one of my favorite places to go.they always have a good variety the staff is very friendly and very helpful!

I love this particular store. All the employees I've ever interacted with have been friendly and knowledgeable. They have really good sales on cat litter and help their local rescues!

The employees are kind and wonderful. I frequent multiple locations and the service is always great. They even offer to carry heavy stuff to my car for me. No one at pet smart has ever done that.

Pet and People friendly! Great deals, and very wonderful working with charities concerning are animal friends and local wildlife! Can not have a pet in my apartment, I go there to purchase gifts for others, contribute to what I can. If I did have a dog again, this is the place I would go for food, other necessities, and grooming! (Also great place for advice for new pet owners!)

Watch out they put things all over in small stacks which causes dangerous falls that they care less if you get hurt

We just took our yorkie out there for the first time. They did a beautiful job and are so reasonable in price, and believe me jellybean my yorkie is a wild one. Thank you to the groomer at pet supplies plus excellent job I will highly recommend you!

Just called to ask about a supplement for a dog trachea.first off Tina who answered was completely rude then the second woman who came on didn't even hear my question before ignorantly yelling no into the phone.great way to run a business def wont be shopping there again.no wonder the place is always dead when I go.how are you in customer service when you cant even give it.fire them both!

This is my pet go to. A large variety, good prices and staff always pleasant and willing to help

Had everything I needed for cats, and turtle. Not much for parrot. Would be nice if you carried larger loose food like nutra nuggets.

Good options, organized, but not the most bang for your buck. There are less expensive places to buy pet food.

Good store.a better self-serve wash would make it a 5 star. Very good staff currently. Large, varied type pet supplies. Plenty of parking. Clean & organized!
