Petco, Altoona PA

The store was very clean and orderly, the employees were friendly and helpful. AND during this whole Covid mess, I was very pleased to see that every employee was wearing a mask.

Usually only one cashier open and check out takes forever. Other times the store is messy and in disarray.

Patie the groomer is great just like every time we get her. The other old gray haired lady was not nice and she put undo stress on my dog.

Love how they actually listen to you on how you want your dog groomed but I'm giving one star considering I showed up for an appointment that they had cancelled just 20 minutes before the appointment and never let me know. So I wasted gas to get there from tipton to find out my dog wasn't getting groomed and no one knew why it was cancelled. The groomer just left and no one working there knew what was going on. I refuse to go back to this one or the s*** show of a one by Target.

Interesting setup for a Petco. Didn't really have a lot of interaction from the staff floating around. The lines were large with only register open.

Everyone is very helpful and it clean, and never has a animal smell always a nice pet store, would like more coupons for birds this where we bought ours

Petco always carries my brand of dry cat food, and the female cashier at checkout was very cordial, professional and funny. Great experience overall.

I really like Petco because they have some great animals there and I think they’re really reliable. But one thing I dislike about Petco is that they don’t have any of the snake breeds that I’d like. There’s very few snakes in stock ever and if they do the breeds they have what aren’t what I’d prefer. I’d prefer a rough green snake or smooth green snake. Petco has neither of these and I really dislike that. Other than that everything else there is completely perfect and fine thank you.

Because the staff is super helpful and courteous. I had an issue with my Petco points discount not coming off when she put my number in so she manually took the $5 off of my purchase with no issues.

Was able to find very small dog toys for a Yorkie puppy that is only 1.6lbs. Most sores do not carry toys for the tiny puppies.

The cashier clerk was very helpful in selecting appropriate attire for our puppy and she also gave our puppy a bone for being behaved. Best part about the puppy attire she made sure the price fit within our budget as well as making sure she'll stay warm in the cold weather.

I went in looking for UV light to see if the spot I cleaned of cat urine got cleaned properly and it showed me I did. I also got some bone broth as well. All in all my trip was good.

Purchased the sweetest long haired hamster for my daughter. Petco has everything we need for her, and the associates were extremely helpful with assisting and answering every question that I had.

I’ve never shopped there, not much customer service on the sales floor, took about 15 minutes to find what I needed, prices are a little high.cashier was awesome & very knowledgeable,

I really love the aquatic section. They're constantly getting new fish and the employees are so kind and offer solid advice. I rarely find dead fish here and believe they are being taken care of with high standards.

The workers there are always really nice and helpful. This is why I prefer Petco over Petsmart. There is a lot of different verities of animals and animal products available which is great because I have 4 cats and a lot of fish. It's my one stop shop to get everything I need for my spoiled pets!

Stood there for over an hour waiting for someone to help me and people who came in after me where being helped before me

The whole staff and everyone I encountered was amazing. If I had questions they were amazing and knew what I was looking for and what I needed.

I would definitely shop at Petco again. Not only am I impressed at how pet friendly you are, but the prices are reasonable.
