So happy!

My baby was so miserable and I’ve been trying to cut him myself lately since we had a terrible experience with a previous groomer. He had skin irritation from the clippers used by the previous groomer, that had to be treated and Petco helped me so much with that. Moving forward I scheduled his grooming appt and upon picking him up he looked beautiful, like a brand new puppy. He was so happy:) The price was reasonable and his skin was not irritated. I will most definitely stick with Petco from this point on. So patient and kind! The vet services are inexpensive as well and I plan to stick with them for those services as well. Thank you so much!

This location always has what I need, shelves are stocked, and the staff is professional and friendly.

One of the larger PETCOs in the area, but their stock is not always reliable they are frequently out of routine items like dog bags, dog food and toys. The groomers are unreliable you cannot book an appointment through the app, they say you can do walk-in but get to the store and either the groomer left for the day or didn’t show at all. Staff is helpful and friendly.

It is a small store with tight aisles. The prices are usually slightly more than listed online. There is usually either no one in the store, or a huge line to check out.

I scheduled a grooming appointment two weeks in advance. The day came, Saturday October 1st. I dropped my dog at 1pm, the hour for the scheduled appointment. We did our check-in, they checked the vaccination record and took the dog. The groomer told me that he would be in approximately 3hrs. My wife went to get the dog at 4: 30pm when she got there our dog was not ready. They bathed him, a miniature schnauzer and left him at the back. He never got to the haircut part after 4.5hrs. We ended up taking him home without the haircut and the longest bath of his life. Don't recommend this place.

There is never an employee on the floor to ask for help. I hate this store, especially the Ardmore PA location. Only shop there if its an emergency. I do my regular shopping at Pet Smart. Its so much better & they honor Chewy prices.

Just moved to the area. We took our dog here for grooming and it was nice and simple. Price was right. Dog was happy. Couldn't ask for more.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS Petco!
We bought a parakeet and THEY HURT HIM when they got him OUT OF HIS cage at Petco.
We brought the bird home and he was hurt and not moving the entire time for the entire night so we called Petco back and told them that the bird wasn't moving and they said we "could get a new bird".
The bird was still the same way the next day that we bought so we went in to see if we could get a new bird and the lady said "YOU ARE BANNED FROM BUYING ANY BIRDS AT PETCO" because of what THEY DID.
So we went to another Petco and THEY CALLED THAT PETCO AND TOLD THEM TO NOT SELL US BIRDS WHEN WE DID NOTHING WRONG.
WE MAY SUE THEM! UNREAL PETCO IN ARDMORE!

The store never seems to be stocked. Usually there are pallets waiting to be unloaded. Staff is real friendly. For sum reason I get no points no matter how much I spend. Some loyalty plan. If I call CS they will give me points. I have to call after every purchase. Petsmart it is

I go to Petco probably once every 2-3 weeks and the food I buy is cheaper on the app than in store, so the cashier overrides the items to price match. I literally do this every 2-3 weeks. Only with white cashiers do I have to prove every variety is less on the app. I get 4 of each variety, but somehow 6 of the same variety was scanned AND 2 were not price matched. I went back in the store and was told despite the receipt clearly showing it wasn't price matched, something else is coming up in the system. I was also told that $1.09 + $1.09 = $2.58. I leaned forward and said "1.09 plus 1.09? " and the associate stuck to the amount. I really hope the registers are never down. Anyways, they got some extra money out of me and they can't add. Bless it.

Julie was really rude. I needed assistance with an item and she was the only worker I saw around. I could tell she was putting away chairs from an event or something earlier but I didn’t think she’d mind answering a quick question. I actually approached her because she appeared to be friendly. She also had earphones in… but when I politely asked if I could ask her a question, she just stared at me! Literally didn’t say a word. I repeated, is it ok if I ask for your help? She said something like “go ahead. ” And it wasn’t friendly. So I literally said I’ll go find someone else if you’re too busy. She proceeded to rush with what she was doing and run off. I had to ask some super young guy a question he didn’t seem to know anything about, and he also kind of laughed at my question. Also - I came here a month ago and the staff didn’t seem like they knew too much, nor did they seem interested in helping me. Petco needs to step it up, because nowadays it is way too convenient and much less expensive to go on Amazon.

I like this location, it's close, but I'd travel for my kittos. Smaller than some of the others but has refillable litter, and the wet food my meow mix loves - and a fantastic mix of dog items that make me wish I had a dog to 'treat', I believe that they have other amenities for pet wellness, grooming etc.

Very nice staff who willingly helped with completing my purchases, particularly with accessing items in the digital machine.

First time there, no one really too assist us with the purchases, so we were kind of on our own
