Petco, Philadelphia PA

I hve been 2 The Armangio Ave. Store so many times, We bought a Betta Fish 4 my kids & the customer service representative's she told me H 2 care 4 the Betta Fish & wht we needed 4 the Fish, They was very helpful, & educated me on how to tke care the Fish. We been 2 the stores a lot of time to purchase so stuff 4 the Betta Fish. The store is very clean & the staff is very professional.
Update: : : : All the Bettas Fish we bought 2 of them had died on us, They gave me the wrong information on these Fishes, Bettas Fishes need 2 B in a Fish Tank with a Filter & a motor. Please do ur research on any Fish tht U buy from here, The Bettas that they sell should not B in a little Bowls, Petco Employees do not know anything about no animals they sell. All they care about is selling & making money on all the animals they sell.

The guy help me pick the product n was very knowledgeable on his product sold. Only thing was the shelves were kind of empty

The staff is great, store is clean and easy to find things. Prices are with in reason and match competitors. Not far from my home.

Awesome place to get your pet. I got a bearded dragon from there and I love him so much and they have everything I need for him everytime I go there.

Store is stocked with what I'm looking for 90% of the time, store associates are helpful even when busy restocking large amounts of products that is neverending it seems. Petco online offers free home shipping on orders over $35 and also offer curbside pickup, same day and repeat delivery. If you have any questions on a product or looking for a different comparable item to one that maybe out of stock call online order customer service to place your order, their customer service sofware let's them see by key word etc in their stock system multiple same type or comparable products at a better price and sometimes better reviews for hard to get or always out of stock items. I usually check Chewy, Amazon and Petco for item price which is usually only a few dollars difference between them and Petco has bee holding their own with offering lower prices between the 3 of them. There are also times you just have to see items in hand to be sure of size or selection in store just to be sure.

Expensive. The live animal selection is minimal. A few of the workers make me feel as if I'm bothering them when I need assistance.

Just one person at register when there was a lone of 8 people.how can u give the best service when no one is around to help

The staff was a bit standoffish. However I was able to find what I needed. I am not a fan of their parking situation. I would shop their again if I'm in that area which is rare

The employees are very polite & do anything that You need them to do. They always ask how my puppy is doing too, lol

Nice store, good products. I don't like how some of the animals are kept in very small containers and such but that is just me.

It had no pet deodorizer for kitty litter and there prices are highway robbery! And they don't care for cats bc they groom dogs but not CATS! My baby needs to be groomed too and i don't like that discrimination!

It was just a mess. With COVID there hasn’t been any kittens or anything there. And everyone is preoccupied on nothing but not cleaning up their idle from their orders. Some of the workers were very nice but others didn’t want to be bothered.

I bought my cat a a nice size dog cage the price was great and she loves it she can run around and play in it along with her food and water and her toys.

Its a hit or miss. I go mostly for fish and related stuff. Wanted to buy a snail, the guy gives me an empty shell. Hello!? Some times they are very helpful. Very inconsistent with service.

This Petco store offers everything I need to keep my pets fed and happy. The prices are fair and there are often sales. Usually things are in stock. The employees are helpful and offer assistance. Service sometimes moves slow at the checkout. Inside of the store is clean. The outside needs to be cleaned.

I spoke to Rose. She was very knowledgeable and did not ignore me and stepped forward to greet and assist. She did an amazing job, so knowledgeable and taught me my mistakes with my aquarium. Day 1 of lowering the ammonia and my fishies, frogs, and snail are still swimming and happy: D Thank you for the recommendation!

Overpriced ALWAYS everyone usually looks miserable that works there and it always has junkies out front of the store asking for something.

Lack of inventory there's really not much help you got to go looking for people and even then when you find them they don't know anyting you're pretty much on your own

The cat food is on the high end side, being organic also, mostly very enriched meals. I myself listen and my Stella tells me she loves Fancy Feast, which Petco does not carry. I get lost reading some of the articles on the foods, I'm not slow, it's just wow! Anyway! Great store for toys! I get Stella a toy everytime. Personal products also a plus. And accessories are in stock, like litter bins, beds, carriers. You can even get a tag made for your pets collar!

Negative Stars. I went there Wednesday (7/7) morning looking for a pet for my son. I didn't see any employees to ask for help. I went to the register to ask if they have the pet. She told me to *get out of here*. Very, very rude. So rude. I planned on returning and buying some items I liked for my cat. Not after that!
