Petco, York PA

Very up set Stood in line for an half hour for feeder fish had some one come back to help an was over looked was not even asked how was first so we left this is all the time never enough staff to help

Great place to shop! We have a small dog and the employees are always so helpful. Additionally, all the customers are super friendly and I love seeing all the doggies!

The worst petco I have ever been! The employees are super rude! And the grooming personal has no clue of what they are doing! 0 stars!

The store isn't huge, which I love so I'm not wandering around trying to find what I need. They usually have the staples, and even things I didn't know existed, so I'm always happy with my trips to the store.

Meredith helped us check out on the register, I asked her to do two separate transactions and she didn’t want to give me a bag for my 4 items, guess her job is too much work for her. She then told me my total and when i asked her the prices of my items that were on sale she said oh looks like someone put it in the wrong place and I told her there was many things in the wrong place then and refused to come look with me. I ended up just paying and leaving then starting an argument, end of the day DO NOT COME TO THIS PET CO everytime I come in here the cashiers look miserable, trashy, and have stank attitudes when checking you out. Do better

Katie was such a huge help when I stopped in on a busy lunch break last week. Extremely kind, very knowledgeable on kittens, and gave me lots of personal recommendations of products. I'll be back!

More expensive than their competitors and their reward system stinks. They had wat I needed though and the place was clean.

We had to get our loved fur baby some medicine for her itch and I 1st called them.and then went in a was able to get the young lady that I had talked to to help me once we were there.we have shopped here for years now.and have never had an unfriendly person help us.

A couple months ago my daughter bought me a Molly and a small moss Xmas tree. The Molly died after a week and my tank is now infested with snails.

Sadly this location has an almost nonexistent cat section for toys. Staff friendly and they have kitties up for adoption here

The blue haired girl that helped me was a condescending hippie. Also they charged 10 cents for a plastic bag. She said it was to help save the environment. Or maybe to boost the company's profits? I thought about saying no to the bag and asking for help carrying my 17 small items to the car. On a positive note great selection of aquarium stuff.

Usually shop in the Petco on the west side of York but had to drive across town to get the dog food we needed. Took forever to find it as the store is cluttered and food is in different places.

Suddenly charges 10 cents per bag with no warning. Not the policy in our city and was suddenly sprung at checkout. No signage in store or on door. Disappointed that we weren’t given a warning ahead of time.

I Loved it because I took Luna my Bull Terrier to train and she was naughty but the trainer was so patient and profesional, I just can't wait for our next appointment on Thursday the 20th 2023. Thank you guys.

Not a big store compared to others because of that their selection of reptile stuff is limited. But other than that you'll find what you need here

I had a Bischon and a King Charles Cavalier spaniel both require a great groomer. I found her at Petco her name is Angie, she was great with both of my boys, I know they loved her. They never fussed about seeing Angie.
I speak in the past tense because my boys have passed away of old age (16).

They are now charging you for a bag to put you purchases in. There are other ways they could save on using plastic that wouldn't cost the customers. Another fleecing of America. Shop somewhere else!

As soon as you come through the door you will AWLAYS ALWAYS FEEL WELCOMED. THE EMPLOYEES WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP YOU. MANY MAY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. MAY YOU ALL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

It's ok for basic stuff. Like if you just got a dog or cat etc, this could be your first stop for stuff. They have a very basic selection and not much variety. Look elsewhere of you have pets or need a wider range of products.

Bottom line is it will get the job done for the basics.
