Petco, Reading PA

Spend $100 on pet stuff and they’re trying charge me $0.10 per plastic bag. That’s pathetic. Congrats they found another way to nickel and dime their customers. Just go to Petsmart it’s right down the road.

I went in, you had exactly what I needed, it wasn't hard to find and the cashier was nice. In and out within 5 minutes.

Worst! Christina is a very rude stylist with a very bad attitude! Super racist, we are Hispanic and he treated us very badly after serving some Americans and was smiling and friendly! I don't recommend that place at all

Never get rewards or coupons from them even though I used to go in there to shop very frequently. Some employees at this location are rude, and the other employees just look away and don't acknowledge you. Will take my shopping solely to PetSmart from now on, where they have much better prices and polite employees!

I placed an order for delivery. Got confirmation that it was on the way. Then a text saying they were canceling my order. Called to ask what happened. Nobody knew. Suggested I reorder. I said yes, but not from you. Amazon delivered the next day.

I have officially marked Petco off my list of shopping for my pet. There are plenty of other options out there to get what I need. After my terrible store experience of being told there were no restrooms to be used… lol and then I was almost charged for plastic bags. I was told we charge because everyone else is charging which is a horrible excuse. The true facts is that it is a cost saving tactic that disguises itself as an environmental tax break.

Staff is usually friendly, I can always find what I need and get on my way quickly. The parking is decent so you don't have to walk far.

Although my experience was fine, I was shocked when I saw on my receipt that I was charged for the plastic bag for the items I had purchased. There was no mention by any store associate that there is a fee for a bag, which other stores provide for free.

I have relied on Petco since 2007 for my dog's food, toys, treats, supplies and grooming. I'm always met with a smiling face and a great personality when I shop at Petco. Thank you for your consistent presence.

Went to Petco for flea prevention for my dog. I had questions about the product but all 3 teen age girls knew anything about the product I wanted to purchase. I think If you work at the store you should know something about the products you sell. So I walked out.

Found the dog food we have had a lot of trouble finding ; Taste of the Wild Ancient Grains flavors.

The girl, Jaylynn, who “helped” me with my pickup order was incredibly rude. The order was for curbside pickup, and after waiting about 20+ minutes I just went inside to get the order (I had to let my pup calm down before going inside regardless). The girl kept rolling her eyes at me and very blatantly acted as though I was a huge inconvenience to her existence. I felt very unwelcome in the store. During checkout (I grabbed a few items while inside), she charged me $0.10 for a bag- then after checking out I had to ask her about my pickup order again, at which time she hands me my online order- IN A BAG. So why did she charge me for a bag when she damn well knew I could’ve put my additional smaller items in that bag? Someone like her should not be in customer service. She very obviously did not care about her job, the customers, animals, anything. So sorry I inconvenienced her with being a customer that helps her to have a job. I’ll never shop at that Petco location again, if any Petco’s at all after that. Horrible experience.

I found what I needed at a very good price and as long as I can keep finding what I need at this great price I will continue to shop here

Today my daughter & I brought our dogs to get their nails trimmed. Christina was AMAZING with them mainly mine. Pepper Rae fought her every way she even tinkled on her. Christina said "Pepper your to old to be acting like this". Made our next appointment for August 12th and want Christina again. I wish I could post a picture here. Thank you Christina for a wonderful experience.

We were nervous to bring our goldendoodle back here after a bad experience with a different groomer. Christina B, however, was AMAZING and made us feel so much better about coming back. She was fantastic and made our pup look so well-groomed!

This was the only Petco I have ever been in that smelled upon entering. The floors were filthy. Very disappointed. Have been to many others, all have been well maintained.
