My husband had a knee replacement with a device that was not robust enough for a person of his height and activity level. The device bent and twisted, as was evident in the X-rays, although Rothman did not highlight this abnormal X-ray (which we have saved in our records.) My husband had to go to the 3Bs in Langhorne for revisions, after suffering pain for two years. Other Rothman orthopedic work on hands and wrists has been good, this was a painful anomaly.

Dr. Sharkey performed my total hip replacement on my left hip back in January of 1998. I just recently went back to see Dr. Sharkey for a check on my right hip which was replaced in 1999 by a Rothman Doctor. I Trust in Dr. Sharkey’s professional opinion to do what is best for me, and anyone who needs his help. Dr. Sharkey is still the Man, and Doctor he was when he took care of me 25 years ago. Dr. Sharkey in my eyes is one of the most Professional, and Honest doctors you will ever meet.

Very relaxed environment. Dr. Sharkey was amazing he explained everything in a way l would understand. All the people l dealt with were very nice.

I have full hip replacement on Nov 21st. 2022. I can not express enough how excellent, kind and professional Dr. Sharkey and his team were. Riddle Hospital where the surgery took place was outstanding. I limped so badly before my hip. Now I'm able to walk with no limp at all. I only missed (8) business days at work. If you need hip surgery Dr. Peter Sharkey is the only surgeon you should go to!

I was not happy to have waited 1.45 hours for my appointment, but I love Dr. Sharkey. He and his staff are always so pleasant. It would just be appreciated if the scheduling was done in such a way that the wait was not so long.

Met Dr. Sharkey for the first time at Rothman at Riddle. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone is always very nice. I have been coming here for years to see my spine doctor, but now I am having trouble with my knees. Dr. Sharkey is very personable and takes his time with you. I got a steroid injection in my right knee. I didn't feel a thing. My future treatments will be injections of viscous jell in both knees. I am glad that I don't need replacement surgery now. I highly recommend Dr. Sharkey.

Doc assured me that I would walk out of the hospital and I did. During my post op assessment, he said let me see you walk? So I did. His response was wow you almost look like nothing ever happened. Thank you for the excellent work you did on my left hip Doc! I'm very pleased with this. Thank God for you and your staff amen!

Dr. Sharkey, is a great medical professional. My visit was informative and I did not feel rushed. Dr. Sharkey was patient, and answered all of my concerns about my next hip replacement.
