PetSmart, Wilkes-Barre Township PA

Place needs new management, they have managers that have expertise as far as anoles and other feeder animals but have no idea about exotics. I am over qualified for the job and they refused my help but they can not even identify what kind of tarantula they have for sale. The reason managers in these places do not hire people like me is because they know in a year I would have their job. I can't hate them for that because they might not know about exotics but they have that right.

The store was clean, and well stoked as we found everything easily. The cashier was extremely kind friendly and helpful.

I’m so disappointed, I called today to make an appointment for my dog who is a client of petsmart Wilkes barre. And I was told that my baby Estrella is not a good fit anymore because she did let them touch her face. That is crazy. She is still a baby and she needs to get used to grooming. And I just find that out because I called to make an appointment for her. If is something that keeps happening I understand but only because the could not cut her face hair well she is not a “GOOD FIT” is crazy.

Good selection, clean store. Prices were a bit higher but with rewards points it may workout for frequent shoppers. The Frisbees were the lowest price I found and a rack full of small toys for dogs near the register were inexpensive at a price under $4

This PetSmart is very clean very organized never been to one like this I highly recommend this one and the worker there helped me with my order spot on what I ordered!

We went to see if they had any turtles and there was one there So my son asked what do you take them home in and of course the girl had no idea as she KNEW NOTHING about turtles We had 2 of them here One lived to be 21 yrs old and we just lost her a few months ago We spent close to 400 dollars on a new tank for her and it had a real expensive filter system too The girl comes back and says we cant sell you the turtle until you have your tank set up I didnt know what to say SO we go there to buy a turtle and they wouldnt sell it to us LOL

I had a attitude today because the gentleman just left me standing when I was waiting for crickets, they can tell I was upset at line and went out of their way to go in the back and scoop me crickets. I'm not sure the lady's name that works in there but she is so helpful and so polite very amazing person. This was at 1: 30 on Wednesday March 30th 2022. That woman deserves a raise, next time I come I'm going to get her name and leave it in the review. If it was not for her you guys would have had a negative review today

Purchased a hamster here and the employee who helped us (Elle or Ellie) was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly even though we were there very close to closing.

Very nice extremely knowledgeable and helpful going back. Staff waa extremely friendly store was super clean and well stocked

Their items here are priced priced decently and their customer service is pretty good. The only bad thing I have to say is that they tend to not have certain items I'm looking for. They seem to run out of items quickly.

I have been utilizing PetSmart services not only for grooming but also for there pet training. I am disappointed say that my newest addition to my family Romeo is Shih-Tzu, Poodle, Carin Terrier mix is not allowed to be groomed at the Wilkes Barre grooming salon. He apparently “nipped” the stylist while she was grinding his nails. I remember that incident and I want to make it clear that he was a puppy and probably was afraid. Therefore, since I was advised to “take him elsewhere” I will do just that, along with my business. If the issue had happened more than once then I could understand the flag. I am sure that groomers come across both dogs and cats that are challenging, it comes with the job. After finding out that a dog died in the care of PetSmart while being groomed, further let’s me know that i will seek services elsewhere, with staff that are confident they can handle grooming a puppy and be understanding that as a puppy he was afraid of the experience.

Absolutely loved them. My pitski absolutely loved it there. I've never seen her so happy and showing off. She never keeps a bandana on and she did for two days. This was her first time and it definitely won't be the last. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service and grooming services. A1 service.

Great variety of dog and cat foods as well as many supplies for more exotic pets. Also a very convenient location. There's never any major crowding in the parking lot. They are also very pet friendly. Saw the cutest Australian Shepherd while I was there the other day.

I get my dog groomed here they always do fine with my pet all I expect is a bath and defur and I'm dome with my pet is fortunate she needs nothing special so coming here for grooming is great

I needed to make a return and didn't have a receipt, the cashier looked it up by my phone number and issued my refund very easy

I've been on the shot that at PetSmart for a couple years now and I always always was treated with respect and they would like to my animal and I love their service

A lot of times this store is short staffed, and there's times it has taken over 10 minutes just standing at the register waiting to pay and there's 2 employees in the store yelling back and forth "someone will be with you shortly" but shortly turns into 10+ minutes

This place is overpriced and the young girl that works there, with the the long straight brownsih blondeush reddish hair and glasses, well she can't be bothered with any questions or to find a single item. This has happened over the course of two or three trips here, she was there every single time and just as useless the second and third times I was in there. Big F.
