Great inventory and a surprisingly large variety of items. Managers are very friendly, and very helpful. This is a great local comic book store.

This is a really cool, fun, little store. Packed with all kinds of goodies. Awesome fun to shop at. I wanted to spend a lot more time looking but sadly my friend pulled me away. I plan on going back soon.

Excellent selection of back issues (silver age to current and lots of indies!). New books. Graded comics. Large selection of tpbs and hardcovers. Dollar bins. Manga. This is a great comic shop.

Nope! I pulled out around two dozen books and used my app to check their pricing, and this shop had all of them at “gem mint” top price—even though that quality is super-rare and only a tenth of one percent of all comics qualify, essentially. When I asked if they had any bargain bins, I was told that they weren’t out right now, they’re only put out on the summer. That makes about as much sense as a grocery store only carrying milk for three months out of the year, despite the fact that it is NOT a seasonal item. For most comic shops with them, the bargain bin counts for a substantial amount of their sales, and cheaper stuff is how you can attract new readers young and old…missed opportunity, but deliberately missed, it seems. Plus why wouldn’t they want to free up that space in their inventory for other things? It’s not worth going in, instead I suggest making the drive to Allentown, PA or JAF in Bethlehem, PA or even Showcase in Bryan Mawr. Too bad. With everything cheaper on eBay and other shops in the region, and the assuredly high rent in New Hope, I wish them luck on surviving.

Great place to visit. Collectible figures, statues, comic's new and old, graphic novels, hardcover books, mini figures, vintage toys, etc. There is on street parking but, bring quarters for the meter. There is a parking lot very close, pay at parking kiosks, coins and credit cards accepted. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE PARKING RECEIPT ON YOUR DASHBOARD. Call ahead to verify the hours of operation.

Lots of comics and comic-related merch for all ages and price points. Excellent customer service. Small, clean, shoppable store. I'll be back!

The ultimate comic store for horror hounds, like myself! Greg is one of if not the owner you want to deal with when purchasing comics, collectables and all independent press and hard to find horror figures, comics, Blu Rays DVDS and all other merch! Honest and friendly this is my #1 go to for all things related to my collection needs from vintage Chaos Comics to Marvel Monster Mags! Phantasm Comics " Where Horror Happens!

It's a fun little store nestled in the coves of the Delaware River. The prices are fair.cheaper than in the soot stained industrial facade wasteland of Philadelphia.

Rude customer service was trying to make money on mask sells when they are the only place around requiring them. Walked into the store he was on his phone instead of looking up at us and then told us after I was ready to buy comics that I needed a mask or buy one

Not a bad comic store, decent inventory, current products, slightly higher than internet prices.

Very cool store! We spent a fair amount of time browsing the large collection. The owner was very friendly and we noticed he enforced the store’s mask policy, which was great to see.:) We will definitely be back!

What you do get when you have a great comic shop in a very touristy area? You get Phantasm Comics! A classic store with the right blend of organization and chaos! A true comic nerd's comic shop.

The only downside for me is the location in New Hope, PA - which is a super-quaint little river town on the border of PA and NJ. This means parking can be super-painful for the visiting comic nerd on weekends. But this location is great for Phantasm, with major traffic going through and people coming in and out. I can't deduct points for a popular location, but the parking in New Hope can be challenging at times!

This is a great store by many measures. Dollar bins outside for the indiscriminate bargain hunter looking for cheap reads. A wall of trade paperbacks as you walk in and another small nook of half price trades as well. A room full of boxes filled with all kinds of comics, including very off-the-beaten-path stuff. There were boxes everywhere, which gave it that classic "extensive inventory" vibe. I like a shop like this, but I also wish all product was more easily accessible.

Pricing was significantly higher than I usually see in my local shops, but the quality was high, and there were definitely some premium books here to be had for those who collect high-end. Also, I am sure the rent isn't cheap in New Hope, so I have to consider the cost of doing business in such a touristy location.

Overall, it's a great premium comic shop and worth a visit if you are in the area. Some good deals to be had, but expect to get what you pay for. One cannot deny that the owner is doing his part to preserve classic comic shop culture. 4.6 stars, rounded up.
