Philadelphia County Assistance Office

This must be a whole welfare office thing for all locations about the lack of phone business.everyone keeps saying how they get hung up on either while on hold or if they’re lucky enough to reach someone they get hung up on in the middle of the conversation.this is ridiculous

My benefits were cut off even though I had all of my paperwork in on time when I went to find out what happened I was told no one signed off on it and to call a no# which no one answers I'm still without any benefits

I was skeptical at first but u know what i was pleasantly surprised by the staff here! Very organized helpfull caring kind employees that will help guide explain and treat you with dignity respect and support! Came here to handle a renewal with my 90 year old grandma they treated us with exceptional kindness my grandma cannot walk a lot or sit for long time once we were called the agent felt compassion for my grand mother and took her at the 1 st cubicle available (so she wouldnt have to walk far) even though it was not her work station took the time to turn on computer submit our paperwork and let me bring whatever was missing without bringing my grand mother in. The security guard greeted us with the smile the people held the door for us. She got to chit chat with the folks in the waiting room. It was a pleasant going out in to the world experience while getting business done! Thank you for all you do for us going above and beyond to provide excellent support and guidance in an orderly manner with a smile on all of our faces!

Rude and disgusting, the people who work there treat people terribly! It's always nasty and dirty at the office and Then when you call for help they just hang up in your face after having you waiting on hold.

Whenever I call the phone rings for a little bit then I get hung up on. I'm trying to get help for my mom who's on hospice. We need help. This is the worst thing we ever had to go through and we can't even get in touch with anyone.

Every since I started going to Parkside I never experienced any problems my wait time might be a half an hour but people complain because the world is in hurry to go no, where, plus people don't have respect these caseworker have so many cases and not enough workers I just thank God I always was treated with respect and I give respect back.

People there are so unprofessional and rude it’s like they come to work and just say I’m not working

I have called a total of 6 times back to back, after holding while listening to music for every bit of ten minutes or more, someone picks up phone just to hang up over and over again. Very rude staff and unprofessional. Where's the discipline for lack of work. Where the manager. # lazyrudestaff

Just horrible. All reviews from this site over the years is what I had to go through this month March 2023. It’s obvious they don’t adapt and improve.

This is the worst PCAO office I have ever dealt with! The staff there must take "nasty attitude" pills every morning before coming to work.

I this place opens at 8 I was there at 7: 45 when got in didn't get seen till 9: 30 awful

Addendum. Read below for original. Have to take it down a star. Nothing vs me but I see how they treat others. The ladies including security are wonderful as if fully aware that there is a hotline number that says respect or call. The gentleman both security & front desk act like they didn't get the memo & immaturely use any discrepancy as an opportunity to flex and show out. What you can say with combativeness & feisty attitude you can say matter factly without making it personal. The victim was an older gentleman who wanted what he wanted & was defiant. That doesn't mean that you feed into the little man by getting ghetto.

This was surprisingly painless. Maybe because I earmarked the chunk of the afternoon for it with no hurries amd no worries of outcome. I've read the negative reviews and there are many, but fortunately I got good customer service from Ms. C. Cullet & Company. Comparing it to similar sized building & staffed Department of Motor Vehichles or worst Uber Hub Philadelphia which was a nightmare of contentious clap back with on premises Security to prevent any response, this was a real blessing.
