Best place to go to with rescues. Response, concern and care is hands on.
Call them before heading up to the centre with any rescues. Though it’s a long weekend (Labour Day weekend), they are working and asked us to bring them in asap. Thanked us for taking care of the baby bunnies the whole night.
Guided us on do’s and don’ts if this happens again.
Amazing, just amazing place and I hope they continue working this way always.

I hope this place does a lot better with animals then they do with humans, but I assume the other employees are good people. I dropped off a Great Blue Heron and the little man I delt with was the rudest person I have run into in quite a while. To start he was insisting I take the carboard box the bird was in with me, the box filled with bird poo from keeping the bird overnight myself since there was no where to take it until this morning. To be nice I was going to take it even though their recycling bins were in no way overflowing and he was telling me the bird needed to be tested for avian flu (you would assume best practices at a medical facility would prevent them from sending people away with boxes of wild bird poo). He was extremely disrespectful and rude and clearly lacked self respect or discipline which was evident by his demeanor. When I called him out on his horrible manners and told him he was being an A-hole he didn't argue he wasn't, he tried to justify it by throwing a temper tantrum about my dog being in my truck and barking at him. You would think a wildlife center would be fine with a big fluffy dog barking when they walk up 2ft away from your vehicle, you would be wrong. This guy was acting extremely rude, being short, passive aggressive, and not making eye contact trying to keep his back to me the entire 5-10 minutes I was there. While he was holding the bird for the 3rd time I asked him how bad its wing was, and he rudely tells me he didnt look at it and will give me a case #. I spend a very large amount of time in the forests and am new to the area, but I will drive 3 times as far next time I come across an injured animal before taking it here. I'm in a good mood this morning and was planning on making a sizable donation since I make a point of giving back to my community as much as possible, instead I am going to leave this review. I honestly feel bad for someone who starts their day off so miserable. Hopefully he can find some peace within himself through some form of discipline like meditation, or diet and exercise, so he can stop flinging metaphorical feces on everyone around him.

These folks are unbelievably passionate and helpful. I found an injured catbird on the road and took it home. They closed at 6, and my wife called at 6: 10 to leave a voicemail. They picked up and stayed late just so we could drop the bird off. 14/10 would trust any animals with them!

Luna followed us home from the perky. She was very sweet and loved to nestle up in your lap. Called metro wildlife and with no hesitation they said bring her in. Can't wait to check in and see how luna is doing. Staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. I felt relieved when I left knowing Luna was in great hands

Rick and Michele have been incredibly helpful advising me on how to proceed with the various cases of injured creatures that I have brought to their attention. They have taught me when and when not to intervene, and how to transport injured creatures to the center.

They are ignorant and make rules up as they go. They deny treatment and services as they feel like it and blame it on their policies. Example "you might be a wildlife trapper but i have to speak to the finder". How is this valid if the finder is gone? I am now the finder. If you dont have space just say that.

Me and my 5 year old daughter took an injured bird there today. They were amazing and made my daughters day knowing they might be able to save its life. Will be donating when I can for sure!

Very knowledgeable, professional staff & volunteers treat wildlife with compassion & skill. It's nice to know that there is a wildlife clinic in the area that accepts all species of native wildlife & is consistently open.

Found a tiny baby possum on sidewalk. Found this place online and called. Very nice man answered and said yes, to bring it in. When I got there he was super busy but answered all my questions. Was able to call 2 says later and ask about the baby. He was doing OK and was expected to make it.

Very appreciative to have them in the neighborhood. They helped with an injured deer yesterday.

Very helpful and responsive! They took in an injured rabbit that I found so quickly! Even though she was in pretty bad shape they still evaluated her, and assured me they would keep her out of pain, which was my main concern. Thank you
