Philadelphia Parking Authority Permit Office reviews
17Gets lots of bad press, but they’re actually quite helpful if you’re nice to them, the kindness really does go a long way =)
Tiny wait, even though lunch time and very pleasant and helpful staff. Getting visitors' passes was easy.
I received a questionable red light camera ticket and then can’t access the video or photos of the incident due to having a Mac computer and not being a Pennsylvania resident. Seems shakedown like.
These people are literally racketeering. Predatory agency. I wouldn’t be surprised at the lawsuit coming at this organization in the next couple of years.
A little confusing trying to get to the proper department. Overall it went well. Purchasing tickets. I was in there for about 5 mins. Surprisingly the girl was very pleasant and friendly and helpful.
I can't say I loved going to this place because I had to pay a red light camera citation but I can say the woman that took my money was very nice and pleasant. There was no line and no wait, which allowed me to get in and get out. Pleasure doing business with you parking authority. NOT!
Please fix the website so residents can renew their parking permits in a timely manner and are not subjected to unnecessary parking tickets. Also, the customer services representatives do not listen to callers. I don't think I spoke one full sentence before the rep began talking over me every time.
Due to COVID-19 the line for wait goes outside the building, in winter too - PPA personnel are slow and mostly unhelpful the majority of the time. No surprises here.
I was expecting the process of getting a city permit to be long and unpleasant. I was surprised at how efficient and easy it was, and NO wait!
The worst organization to deal with. Mandatory to present on site to make any changes to parking permit. I pay Philadelphia taxes and received 4 tickets in 1 month from PPA for parking behind my own house because their was an issue with my permit when I bought a new car with a new license plate.
What can i say it was way better then I thought it was going to be i had a red light ticket sent to me in the mail but the funny part was it was not me or my license plate in picture so they actually took care of it with know problems
Met my needs and concerns about renewing my parking permit. One of the male employees was awesome and very professional. Should have gotten his name. Felt Bless by His service
U have to stand outside for the line place is very small so if u go make sure u dress for the weather
Does anyone actually work here? Multiple days and times I have called only to be met with the answering machine.
Too much waiting in long line and time consuming. Only one clerk working. But she was courtious and helpful and honest as I was leaving I eft my wallet on counter but it was returned to me by guard at door.
Centrally located parking lot but extremely expensive. 2 hours for $21 dollars it's extremely too high.
Long long long wait for no apparent reason that I could figure. I had all the needed paperwork and documentation required. I did successfully complete the transaction and the staff was professional and courteous.
