Some of the employees are great, but some are the definition of ignorant. Grew up going here but that is definitely no more.

Great experience great knowledgeable fun going staff what’s not to like about this place certainly became a member after the first visit couldn’t ask for a better place

I never feel welcomed coming here I’ve been here twice. The first time I came with my mom I forgot my I. D so the owner told me I had to stand by the door. It was cool at first I stood by the door liked he asked then I watch about 3 others come when with out I. Ds and wasn’t asked the same thing. Was able to actually walk around the store. I felt like I was being profiled. Very uncomfortable.

Didn't feel very welcoming. Although I've been here before. I was looking to purchase a weapon. The lady asked for my credentials and how much I was looking to spend I said 3 or 400 she gave me my things back and said we don't have anything for that price. I had more money but she didn't really seem interested in taking my money or trying to sell me anything. All people should be treated the same. I won't go there though. I just won't go back.

I've purchased a couple of firearms and some duty equipment from this place. I also had the pleasure of doing my ACT 235 course here. Mike Hall along with the range master do pretty good with people. And also a couple of the sales persons there.
Just be prepared to be side-eyed if you're a black male.you know "you fit the description". I get the whole criminal element and folks who may come with the lame game, but in business it's good to be color blind and cordial with your repeat customers. I know it's one of the few gun stores in the philadellphia market but I'll travel all the way to Warminster where my business is appreciated. The owner and some of the sales persons weren't customer friendly. I vowed to never spend my money or promote PTA again. Same for Delia's and Atlantic Tactical.

This range is not and good range they try to get to much money out of u and they customer service is horrible I would not go there every again and it say wear masks when u go in and all the works don’t have masks on!

These guys are horrible! I made an appointment and they never called to reconfirm. Every time I go, the staff is rude and arrogant. I’m never going back.

Now I know why they have a bad rating! Every worker/ owner had no interest of answering any questions! If they ask whT your budget is answer with 2000 otherwise you will not get any service!

Their prices are great, nice selection to choose from, even with having somewhat of a limited stock at the moment. Customer service was great.got a nice used Ruger just then and its absolutely gorgeous. I most definitely will be doing business with them again, I'd even go as far as making them my designated shop.

Very rude, kicked me and my family out for “playing around” with the fake firearms. Refused to give my fathers license back. Caused a scene in front of the whole store. If a white mans and his children were to be “playing around” there would be no problem.

I came to this range in 2019 for a refresher course in forearm safety since it had been a few years. The instructor Rip was very professional and knowledgeable. The customer service and professionalism I've personally experienced from the entire staff has been great. I've been able to go in and enjoy the range and even have a few good laughs when talking with staff members. Didn't expect to find a range like this in the city with this type of atmosphere. I have absolutely no regrets about my decision to join their ranks. I will surely be recommending others to come join the rest of us.

Yesterday was my first time ever being in a gun range let alone shooting a gun, the staff were cool, told them i was a first time shooter. The instructor went over the do's and don'ts when handling and shooting a gun, went in the the range pretty confident and shot pretty good, the instructor had a hard time believing it was my first time shooting lol but yeah I'll def go back for more practice and eventually buy my first gun there

I went in a maybe a month ago and fell in love with a gun. I left without purchasing, but just couldnt keep my mind off of it. Returned today to take another look. John was so nice and helpful. I ended up purchasing the gun. Although I already took a gun class elsewhere, with the purchase of my weapon, I am entitled to an class free of charge. Absolutely wonderful people to talk to and work with. It's a far drive for me, but definitely worth it!

This review is long overdue. Jimmy and everyone who works here is great. As a female with a business in Philadelphia, I wanted to know how to operate and shoot a firearm. Their classes are excellent and the range is great. Easy parking right at the Italian Market. You can't go wrong here.

As of Sunday August 19th 2018 from the help of the Philadelphia Training Academy, I’ve became a Pennsylvania Act235 Agent. Jeff and Bobby, Them two guys are amazing and the whole teaching style they both present is outstanding. If you not sure of something, They are there to answer your questions and to make sure you understand whatever it is you need to make sure of knowing. Can’t wait to go back to get the rest of my certifications.

Today was my first time in life shooting. I went in kinda nervous. Everyone that worked here was really nice. They were all extremely helpful. Pricing can’t be beat. They were personable. Also, I was so comfortable that I actually did GREAT! Will make my purchase from them when ready to get my first firearm. Give them a try:)

The people down there are the most disrespectful people I have ever come across. All they want too do is sell you something, a course, a gun, or anything else they can get you to but. Worst managed place I have ever been in.

Took a gun safety course today. My instructor said i did well. Was hitting the target close to the center. They have ladies day for free on Wednesday's will be going back for more practice.

Definitely the best gun store in central Philadelphia. Has a pretty big stock of new and used guns along with ammo and accessories.

Great place and staff and would like to start going again. Highly recommend you take lessons. Safety first.
