Philadelphia's Magic Gardens reviews
17Very nice place, not first time there, but before it became a foundation it was free! I don’t encourage free entrances but I think they should consider family entrances prices as well! Well maintained, clean!
What an unexpected stop in Philly. It’s an a street called South St that is already worth a visit, but the Magic Garden is a gem of wild art in the middle of the city. A+
Good, small place. It’s interesting but I wish they have a description of the works and artists in the garden. The things exhibited inside are also good. They have a section for you to draw and color the arts yourself.
Iconic place in Philly. $15 the entrance for adults and free for kids 5 and under. They have guided tours for $20
A fantastic way to spend an afternoon on south street. Art from New and emerging artists for sale and on exhibit. And floor to ceiling mosaic art inside and outside. It's like an interactive art gallery as you walk through the space. Wheel chair guests may find it difficult to navigate on some of the outside portion. We had a great time and glad to have decided spur of the moment to visit. We bought tickets in advance but others were buying them at the door.
If you have the time to stop here it’s definitely worth the trip! Incredible art and so fun to walk through! Give yourself about an hour so you have ample time to go through. They feature several local artists and some pieces are for sale. I recommend buying tickets in advance because they sell quickly.
Absolutely beautiful, Isaiah and his wife are absolutely amazing artists & have work spreading across Philadelphia and South St.
What a great place and hidden gem. We really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. Walkable art coipled with history make a great combo.
This is a MUST VISIT place if you're visiting Phila. Truly is magical! Do the self-guided walking tour after of other mosaic murals around the surrounding South St neighborhood.
It's a fun and interesting place. A lot more vulgarity tbh than I would've ever expected.
Unfortunately the gift shop associate had a overall bad personality. You could sense she emanated a level of hatred or hostility for whatever her reasons. So if you feel the same way, don't feel you're the only one.
Worth visiting a one-of-a-kind garden in Philadelphia. Lot of history tied to the city-beautiful movement of the 60s to essentially cordon off poorer neighborhoods by building highways that divided the rich and the poor. Good thing this never happened and the gardens are a testament to that decision.
Mandatory visit if you are in Philadelphia. A magnificent place. An exceptional work of art from the entrance to the toilets.
This was one of the coolest places. For blocks of art loved seeing it even though we didn’t get to go in
Very unique experience. The creativity to this is definitely one of a kind. Pay attention to the suggestion to buy your ticket in advance for a timed entry or you will wait. We waited about 35 minutes today.
A museum that is the result of the madness of one man who turned a ruin into a building with music, bottles, wheels and more that make up the walls of the building. Interesting and worth a visit
It is a place that if you visit Philadelphia you cannot miss, it is an example of the Xfinity of dreams that come true with the effort of their hands
This place is just amazing.the sheer amount of items to look and absorb at is a bit overwhelming but oh so very cool!
